Dr. Shannon Dee Fullerton, MD

I have been searching for a new gyno for a while now. I did some research and read nothing but wonderful reviews on Dr. Fullerton so decided to give her a try. The reviews were very accurate, sheâ??s great. She was very personable, thorough and knowledgeable. She also discovered a lump when doing my breast exam (which after many many tries I could not even feel myself, it was apparently very deep down). She had me squeezed in immediately for a mammogram and ultrasound. The lump turned out to be a couple of harmless cysts, but I am so pleased that she caught it. I am currently trying to get pregnant and would feel comfortable keeping her as my doctor throughout my pregnancy. I haven't been contacted yet with the results of my yearly exam, which is why I didn't rate the "follows up after visit" category. All in all though I am thrilled to have found such a great doctor.

Dr. Fullerton is one of the best doctors I have ever had...and I have had many over the years. She treated me for fibroids and was extremely thorough and compassionate. More importantly, she treated me at a time when I had recently been diagnosed with kidney cancer. I actually felt safer and more diligently monitored by her than my PCP, surgeon, and other MDs involved in my care. She has the unique combination of competence and compassion which is very difficult to find in medical care these days.

I've been a patient of Dr. Fullerton for 7 years, and I am so thankful I found her. She delivered 3 of my 4 children, and she did an amazing job throughout my entire pregnancy. Any woman would be lucky to have Dr. Fullerton as their OB or GYN.

I called Dr. Fullerton's office 4 times in 2 weeks and left 3 messages. That was over a month ago and I still haven't heard from them. I am 5 months pregnant in need of care and specified my situation over the phone...still none of my calls were returned. On the website it shows Dr. Fullerton is accepting new patients, if that has changed, they should update their site or at least have the decency to call back to let me know. Luckily I've found a very nice Ob/gyn at Mt.Auburn Hospital.
