Dr. Shannon L. Gullett, MD

Worst dr I’ve have seen. She is rude impatient and condescending and shouldn’t be working with mental health patients since she has zero patience.

Dr. Gullet is the worst doctor I have visited. I've seen her 5 times in the last two months, each time I waited over 20 minutes after she gave me a lecture during my first visit stating I needed to arrive 15-20 minutes early so she would know when to wrap up her previous appointment. I thought that was fair enough so I arrive early each appointment after that but waited an additional 10-15 minutes after my appointment start time. She is very rude and impatient. When trying to answer her questions she often cuts you off and redirects you if you aren't as "to the point" as she would like. I wouldn't understand if that were the case of you weren't responsive and rambling. Over all her "best side manor" is very off putting. When working in a field as sensitive and important as mental health you'd think the doctor would try to be more kind. I made the mistake of responding to the question " how are you doing?" With " I'm ok I guess. How are you?" Dr. Gullet so kindly replied " I'm fine but… I'm not the one in a doctor's office." I've had pelvic exams that were more comfortable visits than seeing Dr. Gullet.

I HAVE NOTHING BAD TOO SAY! SHE HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY PROFESIONAL AND HER OPINION IS VERY HELP FUL! LAST TIME WE TALKED WE AGREED TOO MEET ONE MORE TIME FOR AN IN DEPTH CONVERSATION ABOUT WHO I AM AND THE IMPOTANCE OF OUR RELATIONSHIP AND THE RESPONSABILITY THAT SHE HAS TAKEN ON WITH MY CASE! AS FAR AS I KNOW AND I HAVE DONE MY RESEARH THAT MY CASE IS THE ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD AND I HAVE CHOSEN HER TO HANDLE IT SHE HAS THOSE SKILLS ACHILLES!
