Just stay far away. Your better served with a different doctor.

Dr. McDonald has no bedside manner. If you come in for a physical and have a cough or another ailment she says she can’t treat you without charging for a routine office visit. I go to the Carespot whenever I have anything minor as they are thorough and only charge a co-pay. She charges for everything she can and prescribes the most expensive medication on the market. When she moved from BW to almost Nolensville I started looking for a doctor more convenient and personable. I am hoping to transfer soon.

The only thing Dr. Mcdonald and her staff care about is billing you and your health insurance for the largest amount possible, regardless of whether the service was actually needed or done. She also has an awful bedside manner and is completely dismissive to her patients (personal experience). I had a 3 month refillable prescription that I needed refilled ASAP. My body would go through withdrawals if the medicine wasn't refilled and I knew this from previous experience. I called to try to get it refilled over the phone and her staff member insisted that I had to come in to be seen for the prescription to be refilled. I came in for this "mandatory" appointment as instructed and when I got there, Dr. Mcdonald saw me for all of two minutes. When I told her the only reason I was here was to get my prescription refilled, she said "Oh you didn't have to come in for that. You can do that over the phone". She then refilled my prescription and I received a bill 6 months later for… $133.00 which her office coded as a regular scheduled office visit (a visit Dr. Mcdonald admitted herself I didn't need). As soon as I got the bill, I called the office to explain how the office staff had originally told me I had to come in for an appointment and how Dr. Mcdonald had completely contradicted that when I actually saw her. In the end, I still had to pay them in addition to the $50 I had already paid at the time of the visit. This was clearly a scheduling/logistics error that Dr. Mcdonald could have easily made right after realizing the mistake...but she didn't. Instead, she just squeezed for as much money as she could get. I will NEVER be going back and I will make it a point to keep others AWAY from this doctor and practice! I have read the other reviews and I know I am not the first patient with this type of complaint. If you want a doctor who cares about more than money, you should go elsewhere!

Staff is rude. Takes a long time to get routine prescriptions filled. If you're ten minutes late, they won't see you. I'm done with them.

She has no business being a doctor, I don't understand how she is in the field of caring for people, I've not met someone so cold and unsympathetic.

Horrible Dr.. Looked down at me from the beginning.. Went to see here about prostate issue.. and before words were out of my mouth she was looking down her nose at me.. I got up and walked right out her office in the middle.. Never been treated so poorly .. EVER!

This office and doctor are AWESOME! Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Dr. McDonald has been my primary care physician for over 3 years. She is extremely knowledgable and friendly. The office environment is very peaceful and the staff is always helpful. I highly recommend Dr. McDonald!
