Dr. Sharad Hariprasad Bhatt, MD

My mother has been a patient of his for years. She called several times for her medications and the phone number is disconnected. She went to the office to find a sign on the door that the number is disconnected. No other explanation for these people who need their psych meds. He shouldn't have a license!

He is not a good psychiatrist. He doesn't care for another human being. He doesn't listen He thinks he i the smartest one and the patient doesn't count. He is very nasty when comes to conversation Be careful who you are choosing for your provider. He is overdosing on meds...I got 2 different opinion...It was hard to lower them down to feel better and have a better outcome. He overload people with the strong and harmful chemicals not listen to your feeling at all. Terrible person...I wouldn't recommend him to my worse enemy

If you are looking for professionalism, look elsewhere. This "doctor" will leave you hanging for your prescription for days at a time, with no explanation and no apology. I have no idea who would have granted this "doctor" a medical license. I have no doubt he paid for his license. After going through painful withdrawals without my medications, on multiple occasions, they refused to take my phone calls, stating they were "slammed" and too busy to refill my scrips. I even had to call on my friend's cell phone so they would answer my calls. Once on the phone, the receptionist gave more excuses why the doctor was not available to speak with me. They stated that they would need his approval to refill my scrips. When asked when he would be approving the request, they stated he was out for the day and they would send an electronic message to him. Of course, there was no way for me to verify if he ever even received the request, because my prescription was never sent to the pharmacy. This… "doctor" should not have a medical license and should never be allowed near any patients. In fact, there should be a restraining order issued against him, to keep him from ruining any more people's lives. Please head my warning, do not go to this hack. He will prescribe addicting medications, that will make you dependent, not only on the medications, but to this horrible man and his practice of horror. Run! Run far away! And if you a current patient of his, please, report him to the Ohio Medical Board.

The best psychiatrist I have seen. He is knowledgeable, interested in my issues, and helps me live a balanced life.

He' gentle, caring and very accurate with his professional opinions and successful treatment.

My daughter is a patient of Dr. Bhatt. Due to work and school schedules, we require evening appointments. She had an appointment last Monday, they called and said they needed to reschedule. We made it for this Monday, again, they called to reschedule. The reason being that there were cancellations before our appointment and he didn't want to stay until our appointment time. I could not get her there earlier, so I rescheduled for today (Thursday). Again, this morning they called and said they had more cancellations and she needed to come earlier or reschedule. I told them this was not possible and she needed to come in because she was having issues with her medication and that this was now the THIRD time her appointment was cancelled because the doctor didn't want to stay in the office until our appointment time. They still would not honor our appointment and I was even hung up on by the receptionist. Needless to say, we will be finding a new doctor.

I already wrote pretty positive review nows neg. but let's get REAL. I wanted to comment mainly on the ECT's. The best part is going through the process of getting KNOCKED OUT! returning for another KO. The ECT's only screw with your memory permanently. I had an issue with a male nurse, a punching/whatever situation and got sent to Heartlant. I was only there I believe 2-3 days, but as a Dr. he should of been there. When I met with those 8+10 dr's (quacks!)they just stared, so I just thought tell them what they wanted to hear.not what you think etc etc. Then in the mornings I ask a Dr Do I get to go home? and finally Yes I was outta there. Except for ECT's and The Heartland Experience Dr Bhatt is a really good Doctor

This doctor knows what he is doing and really takes the time to listen to you without rushing at all to get to what the issues are. Highly recommend 100%. Yes there is occasionally a wait, but that is because he won't rush you out the door before you are ready. I appreciate the time he takes and his wait area is pleasant and he provides music.

The up sides: staff is great at making appointments and has also made outside appointments for me such as a sleep study with no work on my part. They are great at getting prescription refills ready for me to pick up. Dr. Bhatt goes straight for the problem and checks in how medication is working. He always asks about what's going on in my life and encourages me to do more. Wait time can be pretty long if there are emergency appointments but that makes me feel reassured that he would do the same for me.

Dr Bhatt has been able to help me deal with my depression when others have failed in their treatment. He is always willing to actually listen to the patient rather than trying to form a diagnosis in the first 1-2 minutes. Very professional and caring!
