i like dr sharad kulkarni good leasoner staff is great mostly i am disabled so i get in and out farlyfast most of my other doctors its like 2 to 3 hours wait for a 15 min visit wish all my other doc were good been seeing him hum i think 3 to 4 years now

I was referred here from my insurance company. I have OCD, Anxiety, Depression, Panic Disorder, and well let's just say there is a reason I see a psychiatrist. I researched Dr. Kulkarni and his office multiple times over multiple days because I wanted to know what I would be walking into. After reading some reviews about the front desk lady being rude, the Dr not taking his time to listen, and well just some real negative reviews I was going to back out. I decided that NO, I need to go and try him out for myself and stop over-thinking things too much. POOR CHOICE! When I walked into the "waiting room" I instantly knew I made a mistake. I spoke with the lady at the front desk who was the definition of rude then sat down to fill out my paperwork. There was another patient out in the waiting room with me at the time. That person was called back and while I sat there filling out the paperwork I could hear the patient and DR talking. I heard this poor patients entire session. I handed my… paperwork back to the lady at the front and noticed there were medical files tossed everywhere. They were on the floor, spilling off the shelves, laid out in perfect view. *deep breaths* I sit back down and wait to be called back. The lady at the front desk starts calling other patients on SPEAKERPHONE. I'm looking at my husband like "Oh lordy I am about to lose it" he reminds me to try it and if I don't like it we won't come back ever again. Eventually I get called back and I sit down in a nasty old metal chair across from the DR's desk. He asks my name date of birth and then starts asking about my symptoms. I explain my symptoms and the meds I'm currently on. I notice he has patients paperwork spread out on his desk and on the floor behind him. I can see other people's names addresses and social security numbers. NOT GOOD. He barely makes eye contact with you, doesn't show ANY compassion, honestly I don't think he even listens. I told him I don't want to be on anxiety meds my whole life and I rarely ever use my Xanax that I'm prescribed so what's he do? Says he is switching me to Prozac and Klonopin. I ask why. He says "because it's what you need"He then says I am to take the Klonopin twice a day. WHY? I don't want to take a benzo everyday. When I ask about side effects he says "don't worry about that. you'll be fine" I then ask "what happens if I have a panic attack while in the middle of switching?" he gives me a smirk and replies "Just don't have one." WHO SAYS THAT? That was when I got up and left. EVERYONE in the waiting room heard my session my husband told me. LOVELY. NEVER again will I go there. I am shocked and curious as to how this office is still up and running.

Cares about his patients and always helps me out by talking and providing healthcare appropriately.

I have been seeing Dr. Sharad Kulkarni for several years now and my visits are always a joy. He has a bedside manor that is excellant. i always look forward to my visit with Him. I would recommend Him to others.

After 20 years of multiple Doctors and wrongfully medicated, Dr. Kulkarni has kept me stable for years. He Is caring, encouraging, supportive, informed, and up to date on medications. Has kept me on track for years. Very thorough and truly the best.

I saw this doctor after waiting 2 months to get in and my experience with him left me in tears and with more anxiety than I originally had! I came in for depression and anxiety and I poured my heart out to him hoping that he could help me. He cut me off while in the middle of trying to explain my symptoms and how badly I needed help because I was up front and honest about my past addiction to pain meds and he refused to treat me because of it! I felt judged...if i was trying to score "drugs" why would i be up front about my past? I stood up and walked out crying because this doctor is NOT HUMAN! He does not care about you at all! He also had me sit there for 10 minutes while he went over my charts (not very professional)...

Needs improvement on follow-up and after hours issues through answering service

Had to wait along time and then he took just a few minutes. Would call and call and no one would answer the phone. Also he could not seem to keep staff. They were always training a new one

I need to go to a primary care doc before he will see me. Even though I've been diagnosed by another doc who is not my primary care doc. Been on these meds for 15 years but my doc will no longer prescribed my meds I need. I've spent weeks trying to find a doctor close to me and get in. He wants me to have a EKG and blood work and didn't indicate what he wants to see in the blood work. A total waste of time. Was leaving for 20 mins. Told me I couldn't take these meds with all my other meds. For crying out loud, I think I'd be dead if all my meds were hurting me. I'm even drug tested. Pass every single drug test as well. I'm back to square one. Waste of my time!!!

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a Doctor!! If u even want to call him a Doctor! Seemed more like a drug dealer to me. And putting specialty for child psychiatry in front of ur name is a big lie!! He didn't even look at my child!! How are you gunna write medications for a someone and not even look at them!! Didn't even acknowledge my child was in the room accept for putting his finger over his mouth to signal my child to be quiet! My child was trying to ask him a question! Very rude!!! Office was very dirty,and I didn't feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. I should have left before we even saw the doctor but he was only doctor in area that would take our insurance and children but he's the worse possible excuse for a Doctor!!! DO NOT GO!!!!!!!!
