Dr. Sharareh Mazaheri, MD

I’ve had a very bad experience with Dr.Mazeheri. She had her nurse refilling my thyroid medication for 2.5 years without an office visit. That’s terrible. I went into the office for a physical and told her my symptoms and she assumed it was my thyroid. My Thyroid is fine. My kidney function is in a downward trend, but they said it was fine. I tried calling the office four times to ask questions about my blood work. The nurse said she called, but I have no record of a call or voicemail on my cell phone. When I finally reached the nurse, I asked the nurse for Cholesterol medication and she told me to reduce it naturally. I also said I was having frequent urine issues and she said I needed to get my urine retested. It was tested a week prior. I didn’t want to get a new test, but went anyway. The doctor called to talk about a negative UTI. I asked about my cholesterol and she got upset I was asking more questions. She got agitated when I said I didn’t have a cholesterol medicine. She said… the nurse should have filled it. She acted like I was wasting her time. She literally said she had other patients to call and rudely concluded the call. Then, I just got a letter that she is dismissing me as a patient.

I obtained an appointment as a new pt very quickly. When I walked into the clinic, the intake clerk processed me quickly and within 5 minutes I was called back. The Nurse got my info and 2 minutes later Dr. Mazaheri came in. She is calm, detailed, knowledgeable and she cares.

This doctor is warm and friendly. I am lucky to have her as my physician.

Bad experience every time I have seen her, made the mistake of changing PCP at Watson Clinic due to convenience to the Main Clinic from my home but have regretted it ever since. Bad bedside manner which she refers to as being "Blunt" doesn't or can't take time with you. She appeared to me to be more concerned about if I've had a Bone Density test when there were more important issues I was dealing with and trying to discuss with her, but I guess Watson Clinic gets more revenue for the add on radiology tests. Long story short - was not impressed by her at all.

Terrible experience overall. Dr. Mazaheri made me feel extremely uncomfortable. She treated me with no respect and when I needed to ask one more personal question, she acted like she didn't have time for me and said "what problem do you have" in the middle of the hallway while other patients were walking by. She was the most unprofessional doctor I have seen. Dr. Mazaheri began bad-mouthing another physician in the clinic saying that the other physician has plenty of time and does not do much. She is a terrible physician with poor bedside manner.

Dr. Mazaheri is a very caring understanding physician who takes her time with my elderly mother, patiently listening to all her complaints. She does not order any tests that aren't necessary. She only sends us to specialists when it is really necessary and she works with my mom to get the cheapest yet effective meds possible.
