Sharday Mccloskey, MD

Sharday McCloskey, MD, is a sports neurologist at Ochsner Health in New Orleans. Dr. McCloskey specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of sports-related neurological conditions, including concussions, whiplash, post-traumatic headaches, peripheral nerve lesions, plexus lesions, radiculopathies, myelopathy, and muscular disorders for patients as young as seven years of age. At Ochsner, Dr. McCloskey leads a multidisciplinary concussion clinic, bringing together rehabilitation specialists to collaborate in addressing complex and persistent symptoms following concussions and other sport-related injuries.

She has worked with athletes in the NBA, professional boxing, and MMA, and has provided sideline coverage at numerous professional, collegiate, and high school sporting events.
