Worst! One hour waiting, took two personal phone calls during the appointment and then says, “I don’t know.” Seriously, go to someone who cares!

This Neurologist has done wonders for me. I highly recommend Dr. Rosen-Schmidt. PK

Dr. Rosen-Schmidt saw my husband but we had to request all the tests based on guesses of what is wrong with him. She didn't initiate any testing. When I questioned my husband's abnormal spinal tap, she told me it wasn't "abnormal enough" to worry. Well, now that he's seeing a good neurologist, that abnormality is the cause of my husband's issues. Dr. Rosen-Schmidt could have saved us months of testing, other doctors and my husband getting worse. Run away from her. She doesn't care about the patient. Her staff is bad as well. We had to make multiple phone calls to get someone to follow-up on test orders, paperwork transfers, etc.

Dr Rosen-Schmidt is a great neurologist and doctor. At every appointment she takes the time to go through issues and think about next steps and results. I truly appreciate her compassion and care. Her staff is also very kind and personable.

I was referred to see Dr. Shari Rosen-Schmidt at Texas Neurology Consultants. It was difficult to get through to anyone in the office but I was finally able to reach someone to schedule an appointment, so no big deal. I had heard that Shari was supposed to be a smart neurologist, so I was hopeful. She conducted an exam extremely quickly and listened to my symptoms with a kind of weird skeptical expression on her face. Then, instead of having an assistant transcribe her notes after my appointment, she went on to spend the remaining 10-15 minutes of my appointment time typing her notes into her computer while kind of muttering what she was slowly typing out loud. It was a bit surreal. After she was finished using our valuable appointment time slowly transcribing her notes, she leaned back in her seat, folded her hands behind her head and looked at me over the tops of her grimy glasses and said she did not think we would ever find out what was causing my symptoms. She said I might go from… doctor to doctor if I had the money, but she did not think I would ever find out what was wrong. I was floored and speechless. It felt like she was saying she did not believe there was anything wrong with me! I had waited weeks for this appointment and this is what I got. I found another neurologist based on good reviews. This neurologist ordered a simple CT scan and identified the cause of my pain. In my follow-up visit he explained very clearly the cause of my symptoms and recommended treatment. I would recommend finding a neurologist other than Shari Rosen-Schmidt.

I have seen Dr. Rosen-Schmidt for over 10 years. I wouldn't change neurologists ever! She is great and her staff is very well trained. The only issue is sometimes there is a wait, but I don't mind because I know that is because she spends time with those who need it, and I have caused her to run late previously when I needed more time.

Dr. Rosen-Schmidt is a wonderful doctor!! She really tries to listen, ask questions, and figure out how to help me. She spent a full hour at my first appointment with me, and averages 20 to 25 minutes on other visits. She is always nice and down-to-earth and makes sure I understand the plan. I love her and have referred friends who also say how much they like her!

Dr. is ok, nurse is horrible. Rude, condescending, always right (when usually incorrect). My suggestion is to find another neurologist office.
