Dr. Shariar Borbor, MD

I am unsure why this doctor is rated so highly. I have had multiple poor exchanges with him. The staff in the office seems nice, but he is an outlier in comparison. I have never had such a frustrating experience with a physician. Every step of care has been beyond challenging, and he has made refilling medication unnecessarily difficult. When I discovered I had high blood pressure, he told me to go home and monitor it. I later found myself in the emergency room and left with three prescriptions to lower it, and I nearly had a stroke. I felt discriminated against, and listening to the patient was not his strong suit — the feigned care was ad nauseam. I would not recommend him to monitor a guinea pig, let alone a human. Update: this petty office also blocked my emails, which is probably because of this review. I also reached out to them by phone and was hung up on. I highly encourage you to go elsewhere and save yourself from a headache. What an asshole!

So it has always been hard for me to find a doctor who will actually take the time to explain to a me how my health really is. Reason why I say that is because most doctors don't really take the time to consult with their patients. Until I met Dr. Borbor he completely changed my perspective he is overall one of the best Doctors I have ever had. He take his time with his patients. He explains everything in a way I can understand him. He even answers all my questions and he doesn't rush. He wants to make sure that before I leave I have a good understanding on what's going on or what is the plan for my future visit. He's the best! I referred him out to a few of my family members my aunt and cousins come and see him to! If your looking for a caring doctor he's the one. If your looking for a doctor who take his time with you and assures you understand then he is the one! I'm moving to Los Angeles but no matter what I will make sure to see him for my follow up visits!(:

I don’t know how this doc does it. He sees a billion patients a day but somehow still remembers me every time I come in. He even remembers my dog and always asks me how she’s doing! Great to know that I’m not just another number to this guy.

I've had the fortunate experience to be Dr. B's patient for the past year and a half and he has been wonderful. He's very knowledgeable in his profession and very caring, I'm glad he's my primary doctor.
