The most rude, incompetent receptionist I have ever in my life talked to. Doesn't even answer the phone in a business like manner. Can't get appointment for our daughter, who we have legal guardianship over, because the patient MUST make the appointment. She didn't even ask for any patient information other than insurance. Glad I found out how inept this office is before we spent money. Hope the doctor knows she's losing patients because the staff won't make appointments!! Not even worth a 1 star rating!

Dr. Burnside is by far the best psychiatrist I have seen. Going into her office doesn't feel like a doctors visit. Being able to actually talk to her about whats been going on rather than just saying how I feel has made a huge difference.

I was blessed to walk into Dr Burnsides Office 12 years ago. She completely understands me and listens to what I’m feeling and handles all questions I might have. We need more Dr. Burnsides. Thank you.

She is very nice and puts you at ease. She listens well and gave me her plan for helping me.

Best psychiatrist in Knoxville!! Very knowledgeable about meds but careful not to over prescribe. I’d trust her with my life! She gave me back mine after another doctor misdiagnosed me and overmedicated me. So glad God brought her into my life. I am now well over 10 years and go annually for med check.

She is brilliant. She has worked with me tirelessly for years. I am very medication resistant unfortunately but she always comes up work something to keep me safe and sane. Excellent Dr.

Takes time to listen to the patient, doesn't rush. Wait time is acceptable. Easy to talk with.

Dr. Burnside is efficient, caring, knowledgeable & continually educates re: conditions & meds. Receptionist and especially the clerk that assists at exit & sometimes rudely answers the group phone line should be overlooked. This employee should not be considered in the review of Dr. Burnside, as she comes with the territory.

After a horrible experience with another psychiatrist, Dr Burnside was a breath of fresh air. She's good at what she does! She changed my diagnosis and took me off of most of the meds I was on! She added an antidepressant that helped me on two weeks. I got my life back! Only woman psychiatrist I would choose in Knoxville.

I saw Dr Burnside at the hospital .I had a seizure and I don't know to this day why I ended up on the phyc ward.She lied to me several times and she kept talking about what a bad man one of my Drs was and she got me put out of his treatment. With no follow up care.She caused me so many problems at a time in my life that I really needed help. I will never trust another physcristist again in my life.She lied about the treatment I was receiving.I will never open up to another physcriitist again .I would lie before I would go thru what see put me thru again I wouldn't re recommend her to a snake.
