Dr. Sharon C. Cote, MD

This doctor is so cold and rude. She gets irritated when you ask questions about tests and medication and just simply ignore your concerns and says “we don’t do that” with a hand gesture. She barely takes any patient history and jumps into conclusions and recommends extreme measures without taking a thorough history. She also never washes her hands in front of the patient and just walks into the room with gloves on!! I’m assuming she knocked and opened the door with those gloved hands? Because I didn’t see no automated door at the clinic. After she finishes the exam and takes off her gloves she washes her hands with soup so basically she is protecting herself but not her patients. Every time I went to see her I felt like she hated her job which made me feel that I’m not in good hands.

Although I arrived early for my appointment I was called within 5 minutes of checking in. Dr. Cote was easy to talk to, listened to my concerns, and imparted a knowledgeable explanation that alievated my fears. Dr. Cote gave me a thorough examination. It was easy to make an appointment as she is available in two convenient locations. I highly recommend Dr. Cote for your gynecological needs.

Dr Cote is a patient and very experienced Doctor. Her staff is kind and concerned for the well being of the patient. I highly recommend this Physcian.

I have been to NYU and had a different GYN, and I wanted the same Dr. But she was booked so I asked for the next best and I was told DR. Vote. I showed up to my appointment and ment DR.Cote for the first time. Honestly I did not think it would go well, but I liked her. For me she was straight forward and to the point gave me the information I needed and best advise. Dr. Vote also was the Dr. Who did my surgery and I can not be happier. She was GREAT!!!! She made sure she spoke with me before the surgery and was there after. She contacted me on my cell and my emergency contacts as well to make sure I was ok after surgery. She made this a lot easier for me believe me I was scared. I will recommend DR. Vote to any women looking for a GYN. I wish she did primary care. Thank you DR. Cote

Dr Cote was my first gyno, but I'm definitely looking for a switch. I really like the nurses there, but not her. I schedule appointments for late in the day so I can go after work months in advance and every time I get a call the day of to come in earlier. And this usually isn't one phone call, it's multiple (cause they ask, I say its not ideal, they check with her, then check with me, etc). She comes off as cold and unconcerned with my gyno related problems. I just don't feel like she's giving me the best care. They are very good about response time though, if they have trouble reaching me they will try other methods unprovoked. Overall: office good, dr no good.

No bedside manner Cold doctor I’ll never see her again

This was my first visit with Dr. Cote, but I have been a patient in that office for 20 years. Waited for a half hour in the waiting room and twenty minutes in the exam room. I also have urge incontinence and she recommended I try to get off of the medication I'm on by trying some exercises. These obviously were tried years ago (she should have read my chart before the appointment). Medication was tried only after other options were exhausted.

this is the worst doctor i have ever went to. this is my first time having a child and your not supposed to do transvaginal songrams after about 13 weeks i am 15 and when i asked her why she was still doing it her exact words were its quicker..

Dr. Cote was the covering doctor in the hospital the day our son was to be circumcised. Per our Pediatrician, the circumcision was "botched." Would never recommend this OB practice to anyone.
