Dr. Sharon Nita Khan Lepak, DO

I had heard so many good things about Dr. Leak; looked forward to meeting her. I found her to essentially be a poor listener. She seemed distracted. Maybe it was a bad day for her. The game ended when she "fat shamed" me, despite my explanation that I suffer from Lipedema. She proceeded to tell me how fit she was and ran marathons!

Dr. Khan is the best. Her knowledge is impeccable and her "bedside manners" are equivalent to that of an angel.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Khan-Lepak. She was very pleasant and listened to everything I had to say and even repeated what I said so she could put it in her notes. I had a physical and she gave me the necessary forms to get lab work done. It was one of the best doctor visits I have ever had.

I've been seeing dr khan for 7 years. Ready to see someone else. Not so sure if she is really listening to my clinical issues or she cares more about filling out her EMR. She is hard to get an appointment with so you better get an urgent care facility in mind. Once I had to walk out she keep me waiting for over 1 hour. What's the point of having an appointment..???? The front desk acts like they are doing you a favor when you ask them a question. The last time I was there I was ignored and the front desk was so cranky a smile to greet would be nice.

Dr Khan is a great doctor. She takes the time to listen and cares for her patients. She is very compassionate, professional, friendly and respectful. She has done a very accurate diganosis in my case and has given me the right medication to handle my condition. Since I have been under her care, my condition is controlled and I am able to have a normal life. She is also available by email. I have emailed her couple of times when I have needed, to let her know how I was doing with my new medication. She responded promptly. I would highly recommend Dr. Khan to any family member or friend. The only think I do not like is the Martin Memorial staff. The receptionists are very rude and careless. It is also very hard to get through their scheduling people to get a quick appointment. This is why I did not give a good rating in Courteous Staff and Easy of Appointment.

Dr. Khan, Is a doctor who does not care about all the concerns of the patient or there total well being. My mother is going through a very rough transition in her life. Her diagnosis of my mother was to see my mother and send her off on her way with a prescription of Zoloft. My mother became quite sick on the pills and the doctor has only told her to reduce the amount. I as a family member got quite concerned and also have a many other concerns that my mother was willing to bring me with to her next appointment to speak with t Dr khan with my mother in the same room. After I called to follow up on my concerns with the doctor about my mother, I was advise, which I understand would only be a one way conversation over the phone but she only at that time advise me she she was going to refer my mother to a neurologist after I told her nurse my concerns. Although on my mothers follow up appointment with Dr.khan I was going to go with my mother to the appointment and I was advise by Dr.… Khan she advise my mother she does not want me there for that appointment because she does not have the time and would not intervene in family matters. This is about my mothers health is that not what you need to be concern yourself with and understand the complete details before you take out your scrip pad and send her on her way. Also if my mother has other issues you don't completely understand on all the issues then you are causing more harm by giving the wrong medication. You call yourself a family practitioner???? I don't think so. You are a poor a example for the really good doctors that are out there and want to help there patients. Your only concern is how many patients you can see in a day to please the office you work for. Guess your bonus is based on that and how many prescriptions you can dispense. Shame on you Dr. Khan. It is a disgrace you hold the title of Dr. .

Dr. Khan is one of a kind! She reminds me of an old school Dr. In the way that she gives each patient the time and attention that they individually require. She is very kind, genuinely caring, and one of the smartest Dr.'s I've had the pleasure of meeting. I recommend her to everyone, and I will continue to do so. Keep up the GREAT work! MMHS should be proud.

THIS WONDERFUL WOMAN TAKES THE TIME TO LISTEN TO YOU AND REALLY CARES ABOUT YOU AS A PERSON. I APPRECIATE THE FACT THAT WHEN I WAS OUT OF WORK AND NEEDED MY MEDS. SHE MADE ME PROMISE TO CALL HER, AND NOT GO WITHOUT THEM AGAIN. THIS IS A WOMAN THAT DEFINITELY DESERVES TO BE CALLED "CARING DOCTOR"!

Dr. Khan and her staff are absolutely wonderful and very attentive to all of your needs. They make you feel very comfortable and make all efforts to show they care. Dr. Khan is an outstanding doctor who truly lets you know she cares. From the moment she sees you you know she will do all she can to help you. That your injuries and illness is her first priority. Dr. Khan not only wants to help you she also wants to get to know you so she can help get to the root or source of what might be ailing you.I recommend Dr.Khan. she is truly an exceptional doctor.
