Never truly wanted to talk about feeling or work through the trauma I had just went through. She would only talk about school my career goals and herself. She also would ask my guardian what she should do with my siblings each visit?! Isn’t that her job to decide not the parent? Would not recommend!

Sharon Mcmillen was not helpful for my journey with helping my mental health. She repeatedly belittled and disrespected me, especially concerning my diagnosed anxiety and depression. She would often question if I genuinely wanted help or if I was just seeking attention. Furthermore, she would use our sessions to talk about her own achievements and show me pictures of her grandkids instead of you know helping me like she was paid to do. To make matters worse, she would send me home with workbook pages that increased my anxiety, and when I expressed this, she dismissed my concerns and accused me of attention-seeking. I strongly advise against seeking her services or recommending her to others as even after a few years of no longer seeing her I still have nothing nice to say.

Very compassionate and caring. Easy to talk to and sets a great example for the industry.
