Dr. Sharon Faye Pushkin, MD

Dr. Sharon Pushkin is rare. She is the most positive ob/gyn that I've ever had. I have several issues, and she not only talks me through them so that I can understand what is going on but she also does it in a way that makes me feel like she's invested in my wellness.

She is fabulous. Kind, caring, knows her specialty. Highly recommend her.

I went to Dr.Pushkin after experiencing some OBs that were not very kind and it was so refreshing to find a doctor so lovely and warm. She always take the time to listen to my concerns and answer any questions I may have. She delivered my baby girl 9 months ago and was so amazing, supportive and calm at hospital. I have never had to wait very long at office for my appointments, and I found the office staff to be very nice and friendly.

I went to Dr. Pushkin for a few years. During this time, her staff improved considerably, but I became more and more disappointed with the doctor herself. The final disappointment came after she prescribed the wrong medication through my mailorder pharmacy, didn't respond to repeated attempts to resolve the mistake, and later when confronted in person, blamed her staff. I tried to get her to accept some responsibility and was yelled at in her office. She finally agreed to reimburse me for the mistake, but later had someone in her office call to say that I would not be reimbursed, but would have a credit on my account. In addition to these problems, the last examination room I was in was not clean (my last visit was the first time in that particular room).

Also the staff has made quite a few schedule mistakes that caused me to show up the wrong day. The parking is expensive, and the wait is at minimum 40 minutes. But she is great, very casual, always honest, and will give you the reason for everything. I trust her enough that I go through the waiting and parking stuff. Great doctor.

I have never had a better doctor then Dr. Sharon Pushkin! She even calls me on the phone to talk about my health. She works well with the pharmists. She takes lots of time with me. Talks about all my concerns. Her staff are the best. They treat me like a person, not a number. They always use my name. I like that.

Dr. Pushkin is absolutely wonderful OB and I love her. She is very knowledgeably and always relaxed and makes me feel as if she is a family friend. When she is concerned, she calls evenings, weekends just to make sure that you're alright. The only drawback is the waiting time..It's always long...So bring a book.

I like Dr. Puskin's pearsonality as she is very caring but it's so difficult to wait for more than an hour everytime you have an appointment. The staff are not that organized and sometimes you need to wait on the phone for more than 10 minutes or they hang up on you bt mistake!
