Dr. Sharon Althea Smith, MD

If I could give this Dr a 0 I would putting my life and my baby’s life in danger. We almost both died, once giving birth to my baby because of her negligence. She never respected my feelings, my body nor my decisions. I was forced to doing what she wanted me to do .It was one of the worst days of my life. It has been a couple years since that happened but ever since I can’t have a normal sex life and the trauma of the event will forever be in my memory how she hurt me in my weakest moment while I was giving birth she hurt me so bad that even after I gave birth I didn’t understand why I was still in so much pain I wasn’t even able to carry my baby until the 2 day my baby had to be taken to the nicu since when she pull my baby she dislocated his arm well I just wanted to warn anyone because I would never want someone to experiment something like this.

The handling of patient paperwork makes it impossible to recommend this doctor. They never answer the phones and they have paperwork outstanding two months post my procedure. I have complained before and NOTHING has changed. I would run from this doctors office.

This place is a joke. Doctor ordered an unnecessary drug screen during my annual pap and now I’m being billed for it because my insurance won’t cover a medically unnecessary test. Doctor never asked me if it was OK to perform a drug screen (I would have said no as It wasn’t needed). In my nearly 20 years of annual gyno appointments never have I once had a drug screen (the same screen as is done for a pre employment check). Office manager assured me multiple times I would not be financially responsible for this bill and it was an error I even received it yet I recently received my 3rd notice. The office doesn’t answer the phone even during business hours and the office manager has not replied to my emails in regards to this issue for the last few weeks. I would give 0 stars if I could for their lack of professionalism, honesty, and integrity. If you can’t trust this place to email/call you back you certainly can’t trust them with you or your baby!

This will be my second baby delivered by dr. Smith! Amazing Doctor! I never had no problems with her. If you are unsure about anything she will make sure to explain it to you.

My experience with the doctors and nurses at Ob/Gyn Care has been phenomenal! The care that was been provided to me was exceptional, and I could not imagine sharing that experience with any other clinic!

Dr. Sharon smith is very thorough and she's great at what she's does. She's a very passionate and caring Doctor.
