Dr. Sharone Vanesha Reid

It's really sad when you try to support your fellow Howard University Alumna's small, black owned business and receive subpar customer service, yet are charged premium prices. First off, the braces were marked up nearly 200%. Secondly the process was not fully explained. I'm expecting six (6) months of Invisalign, yet when installed, I got regular wire braces. But okay, perhaps I misunderstood. Now fast forward to the application. I arrive early for my scheduled 9am appointment and I am made to wait while the ENTIRE staff assists the "orthodontist" with applying for her Hurricane Irma food stamps. I waited for fifteen (15) minutes before I had to ask if there was a problem. They rudely did this within earshot like it was okay and/or professional to be handling personal business in front of customers. Customers who have jobs. Customer's whose jobs pay the exorbitant prices you charge. But cool. Braces on. I was then instructed by the "orthodontist" to call if the silver anchor came off… so I could get a same day appointment to repair. The anchor comes off the very next day. I call and was told to come nearly a WEEK later for repair. When I advised how uncomfortable a wire sticking you in the teeth and/or biting on metal is when trying to eat I was scheduled for Friday at 10am. I arrive today at 10am and the office is closed. Even your Facebook page says you are open. It saddens me that when you try to empower your fellow women they conduct themselves and their business in such an informal and unprofessional manner.

Been 3 years I have been seeing Dr. Reid. She does a wonderful job. Very professional.
