Friendly professional staff. Dr. Hsieh is professional and thorough. I trust Dr. Hsieh and the Vancouver Eye Clinic for helping me care for my vision health.

Dr. Hsieh is very thorough and straightforward. She provided me all the necessary information about cataract surgery and help me to make the right decision. I got detailed instructions orally and in writing. The surgery went through very smoothly. I am very happy about the results.

If I could give Dr. Hsieh a zero I would. We have gone to the Van. Eye Clinic for years and have had an amazing experience. On our last visit we got Dr. Hsieh. She absolutely no bedside manner. I had asked the nurse to have her speak to me in private about a cyst found in my son's brain two wks before- which she just talked in front of him anyway. She was robotic, cold and looked at me like I was an idiot when I asked questions about my son's eye exam and if there was any chance that his poor vision was caused by a cyst seen on an MRI. No compassion. When I excused my son and gave her the feedback about how awful the appointment was- she did nothing. Later I looked in his chart online and she document the exchange and said I didn't wait for the answer on the cyst - which was a total lie. Highly suggest you avoid this doctor until she finds a way to speak to patients in a kind, informative manner.

Dr. Hsieh is an excellent doctor. She is very thorough and explains everything to where I can understand.

Dr. Shauy is the best. She is patient, understanding, communicates well, answers all questions (no matter how silly or stupid!), is friendly and professional. What more could anyone want? I would recommend her to everyone.
