Dr. Shawn Lawrence Carter, MD

This doctor is one the worst doctors I have ever met. Terrible that Northside Hospital has him on the medical team. This doctor has a rude, I hate my job attitude and it affects his work ability. This doctor is bringing Northside reputation down, I always had a pleasant experience until I met him. This doctor influence people around him to be terrible and to have an attitude. He does not care about his patients, he will say whatever comes to his mind and will walk away when you are speaking to him.

Dr. Shawn L. Carter or Dr. Shawn Carter, medical doctor located at the Northside Hospital emergency room in Sandy Springs, GA., needs to retire if he hates his job so much. I met him in the emergency room and his personality is a BOLD mixture of condescending, nice/nasty. I felt myself in a debate with the doctor about my symptoms and associated pain. He blatantly attempted to half-perform (5% effort from him) my examination until I took "charge" with asking him questions to encourage his work effort and determine my final diagnosis. It was a very stressful experience being under his care. This was my first ever unprofessional experience at Northside Hospital in 15 years!

. Emergency room . Dr. Carter prescribed treatment before he ever saw or talked to me. Ordered test, thank goodness All turned out to be in ranger and addition treatment was not necessary. Or in my best interest Glad I delayed his prescribed treatment as they may have cause me additional problems. I feel a Dr. MUST see and talk to a patient before prescribing treatment or medication

No care, no compassion and plenty of bad attitude. Shame on the Medical college of GA of graduating such doctor. He is the worst person I have ever met in a very long long time.i was getting one bad attitude after another in 15 or 20 second increments, what is wrong with this guy? The rest of the staff and nurses were excellent during my 1 hour hospital Emergency stay at Northside Hospital, but he was the worst doctor I have ever met.
