Dr. Shawn Harrity, MD

She's cold, abrupt, and completely lacking in any bedside manner. She didn't answer any of my questions. My friend who was with me at my appointment agrees with me. If I could I would give her zero stars, but it won't let me do that.

This is an insensitive and nasty lady!

I agree with the comment before me. My mom is her patient and doesn't hear to well or express herself very well. Dr. Harrity does not hide her irritation. She is not very patient with her patients in my opinion and has an offensive manner.

I have been seeing Dr. Harrity for almost 10 yrs now and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a great internal medicine/infectious diseases doctor. She always takes the time to listen and explain things. When offering treatment options, she makes it a point to explain the pros and cons of the different options but leaves the final decision to me. She's always easy to get hold off whenever I have questions and responds promptly

I found Dr. Harrity offensive. When I spoke in layman's terms about what my symptoms were, at times she would just laugh and say things like, "Medically that makes no sense!" She's my doctor, that's why I go to her, because I have no idea what's wrong with me. All I can do is describe what I feel, the rest is up to her. There were times that I was embarrassed by her which makes it hard to share what's wrong.
