Dr. Shawn R Pawson, MD

Dr. Pawson is a nice man who seems to listen and respects my medical preferences. However, he did not tell me about the possible side effects of a prostate drug that he prescribed for me; I found out later by reading on my own after having side-effects myself. Also, he neglected to call for a psa screen in my annual lab bloodwork. I had to be tested separately which ended up costing me an extra $ 53 after my insurance co-pay.

After 2 visits to his office as a new patient he never even came in the room to introduce himself or learn my medical history.

Dr. Pawson correctly diagnosed my chronic illness, found me effective treatment, and has thoroughly followed the progression of my illness with interest and reassuring care. I am very fortunate to have him as my primary care doctor.

My visit with Dr Pawson fully met my expectations. The front office staff were helpful and courteous, the waiting time short, the initial evaluation comprehensive and the advice and treatment given thoughtful.

I can not believe what has happened I have been telling I do not feel well and he tells me theres nothing wrong with me I end up in the hospital with breathing tubes and all changed doctors.

Shawn Pawson is the most uncaring, inconsiderate doctor I have ever encountered. Shared no compassion to any patient. Discards the families wishes and feelings. Talks over you with no consideration. Condescending personality. Should consider a different profession.

Dr. Pawsons can be a good doctor if your just going in for a regular check up but don't count on him for anything more then that. If you need a follow up visit or medication for something that he cannot diagnos your on your own in figuring that out.If you see a specialist for other symptoms don't depend on Dr. Pawson to relay any messages or interact with the specialist.In my opinion he needs more experience.
