I consider myself very fortunate to have come under Dr. Bashir's care. She is competent and compassionate. My experiences from consult through post-op were entirely positive. I felt cared for as a patient and person.

When your PCP tells you they have to refer you to gynecology/oncology you get nervous. Thankfully I had Dr. Bashir! She explained everything to me and calmed my nerves. The surgical process was quick and my recovery was great! I am so glad I was referred to Dr. Bashir! Thank You !

Dr Bashir was the best. She is very caring and will take the time to answer any questions you may have. I was very nervous about my surgery since I had never had surgery before. Dr Bashir and her team were great. They were very caring, informative and made me feel at ease. My surgery was robotically done and Dr Bashir was amazing. My recovery was easier than expected.

Dr Bashir was incredible and walked me through the whole process with all my nonsurgical/surgical options. She was very supportive and informative. Surgery went better than expected and I had no bleeding after surgery. She called me multiple times during the week after to ensure I was healing. Fabulous person and doctor!

Dr. Bashir was absolutely the best! She is caring, compassionate, understanding, and professional. I had a misunderstanding at the emergency room and was actually referred to another doctor. When that doctor did not contact me, I called to talk to Bashir‘s office. They got me an appointment the next day, and fortunately I was able to have surgery the day after that. She, her residents, and her staff explained everything to me every step of the way and I could not be more pleased with the result. Prior to selecting Dr Shazia Bashir I had seen 2 other GYN MD/surgeons. I was considering Medical hospitals in the NYC area - but Fla best suited my needs at this time. A glance at Dr. Bashir’s resume listed surgical experience at distinguished hospitals I had been considering. There would be no question this Surgeon would be my choice. Dr. Bashir had a better grasp of the issues my situation presented using essentially the same type of MRI/Sonogram, as another MD I’d consulted. She recognized the scope and clarified my procedure was complex. My recovery has been swift and without complications. I feel incredibly lucky to have been treated by Dr. Bashir and her team. Dr. Bashir spent 2 hours discussing my concerns, including clear & concise illustrations during the consultations. Her demeanor is kind, thoughtful easily answers any questions. She added an MD available for questions prior to the procedure. I did reach out with issues that were promptly addressed. I highly recommend Dr.… Bashir. She made a correct diagnosis and assembled an amazing Surgical Team. I have been very appreciative of her wisdom and kindness. Again, I highly recommend her for GYN Surgery.
