Dr. Shefali Pappu, MD

I do not recommend her. She delivered my baby, and she was very cold and distant on the day of delivery. In the office during my visits, she was friendly, but it was like having a completely different doctor on the day of delivery. I had a c-section, and she didn't even greet me or say anything upon entering the delivery room. During the c-section, she and the nurse were having casual conversation as if they weren't in the middle of a c-section. Dr. Pappu never addressed me at all or talked to me during or after my c-section. The anesthesiologist was the only person during the delivery process who brought comfort or explained anything. This was not my first c-section, and I can tell you this experience was way different from my first as far as how the doctor handled it. My c-section time was rescheduled by their office then later pushed back due to no beds being available at the hospital. She never called to update me or explain that I would still have my c-section that day despite… all the confusion and lack of beds. I had to call her office to get an explanation. Also, their office has a ridiculous turnaround time for the paper, especially when I see their staff standing around joking and talking when they could be filling out paperwork to get back to patients in a timely matter. Needless to say, I will never return to this office or recommend their services.

She is the most awful doctor I have ever experienced. She never bothered to call to discuss the biopsy result nor to discuss any follow-up care with me. It was only through my persistence that I was able to speak to the nurse who informed me that the result was negative for cancer cells. However, the nurse left out the fact that the negative result was based on only a tiny sample of endometrial tissue and that further review was needed. She told me that the doctor will call me since I had questions, but the doctor never called even though I have left multiple requests. I also requested to speak to the clinic manager who never returned my phone call. The entire staff is incompetent and showed zero concern for my well-being. I am a medical provider myself and I'm shocked by this type of care.

I could not be more thankful or satisfied with Dr. Pappu. She truly listens to my concerns and focuses on my health goals with me. Over the last 10 months I’ve been seeing a specialist for a bladder issue. The specialist didn’t run any tests and instead recommended various at home remedies that didn’t work. Then he started talking about next steps, which were medication and self catheter for life. I decided to take some time before moving forward with his recommendation. In the meantime, I went to my regularly scheduled annual with Dr. Pappu and shared what has been going on. She did my exam and scheduled me for an ultrasound the next day. The scan showed a 6cm fibroid on my uterus. She scheduled me for surgery and I am currently home recovering with no more bladder issues. When I say Dr. Pappu listens & is an advocate for you, I mean it.

I have seen Dr. Pappu for annuals and birth control. She is extremely easy to talk to - she’s great at explaining everything she’s doing during procedures and makes you feel comfortable. I cannot recommend her enough!

I saw Dr Pappu today for the first time. I was very impressed with both her and the staff. She seems to be truly concerned and takes time to listen to you. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
