Dr. Sheila Diane Goldsworthy, MD

I saw Dr. Goldsworthy when she was on call for my OB at the hospital. Her knowledge and care were great, however her cervix checks were incredibly painful because her fingernails were long and that makes an uncomfortable procedure even more painful. In my opinion anyone whose job involves sticking their fingers into other peoples' sensitive areas should not have long fingernails.

Dr. Goldsworthy was there for me when I was in a septic state in the hospital. She was very caring & put me at ease before my surgery. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs an OB/GYN. Thank you so much!

Was very happy with this practitioner for a time. However, when tests showed recommended surgery could easily be postponed; was very likely not cancer, and that the situation may even be improving, she refused to monitor the situation a few more months; was no longer the sweet, kind soul, and instead told me to find another doctor. I don't judge her motive, but it was a real hardship. The patient's welfare was not her first consideration. Whatever happened to a woman's right to her own body?

Dr. Goldsworthy was excellent. She was courteous, caring, listened to me and came to see me in the hospital after the procedure to make sure I was ok. I would recommend her to every woman I know with similar issues like mine.

Best doctor I've ever seen. She actually listened to me, which has not been my experience with most doctors. It was nice to be treated as a person and not another number. I would highly recommend her to any women.
