Dr. Sheila X Shung, MD

Dr. Shung and Lisa are excellent! She takes her time to know you and about your body. She is very thorough in everything she does and cares deeply about each of her patients. She is like family to me. I have been a patient for over 10 years and brought my entire family on board, even my mother in law. I recently relocated and had to change physicians and I am not happy at all! I wish I could pick her up and bring her with me. Lisa is awesome! She also cares deeply and shows it every visit. Love, love love these guys!

I'm so grateful that my pulmonarist Dr Laura Gilbey referred me to Dr Shung. I am a X@ lung transplant and she works closely with the Center I recieved my transplant. Her bedside manner is perfect and she pays close attention to what you say. She has literally been a life savor for me.

Do not go to this Dr. She clearly has not regard to patient sensitivity or needs. Will never go back!

I had an appointment with Dr. Shung for the first time. I was looking for a new primary care dr. she had somewhat good reviews so I decided on her. My first and last impression has been just horrible. I got there 15 minutes before my appointment time. Did not get seen until almost two hours later, that I actually fell asleep in the room for about half an hour. Second when I went to get my blood work at CPL (fasting at that) they had no record of the request for blood work. After three calls they finally answer and they apparently had my birthday wrong. I went back to CPL to look and nope still no request after 10 more minutes there it was. It had never been submitted. Thirdly after all my results have come back I still have not heard a peep from Dr Shung about my results. There are even some red flags in my report and yet NOTHING. Do not see this Dr. She clearly does not give a crap about patients and their concerns. Her receptionist never answers the phone and responds… to calls a day or two later.

The major complain is the waiting time. But much of the reason of long waiting is she spend really enough time with each patient. When it's your turn you have a feeling she is for you alone, there is no hurry.

Ridiculous waiting times, I waited an hour and a half each time I went before realizing how disrespectful this is. Not very helpful and a bit rude.

Dr Shung Is a very friendly caring physician.She was recommened to me, With in the first 2 visits was able to diagnose me correctly and had great follow up care. She always responds to my questions and is always ready to try whatever it takes to help you feel your best.

Dr. Shung was wonderful. She addressed all of my concerns and spent a lot more time with me than any other doctor I have ever had. She was friendly and professional, as was Rebecca, who apparently does everything else. I have no fear of going to the doctor anymore. They have set my mind at ease.

I have been with Dr. Shung for 8 years now and is someone that truly cares about ones health. Her persistent nagging got me to quit smoking. Many doctors make you wait for an appointment if you are sick. When I get sick I need immediate relief. They are always sympathetic and able to squeeze me in.

My biggest complaint is she does not seem to care about the well being of the patient, lack of sensitivity, and does not listen well to the patient's concerns. She seems to think she is the doctor and she will decide what is best for you. At times she seems eager to see you unnecessarily, I assume to make money. We had heard another friend complaining about her insensitivity.
