Great doctor who actually cares about her patients.

She is very rude and unpleasant to deal with. Not only did my mother already feel terrible for letting her disease progress as far as it had, but she made it a point to tell her she would never get better. This is not the type of doctor I would like to see for a disease that is already uncurable. I was very dissatisfied with her treatment and lack of understanding. I would not recommend her to anyone that believes their doctor should actually care about the patient.

Was treated for RA by DR. Dames 4 yrs, hated every visit. Appt's run abt 6 weeks out. One day she read through her notes for me from a prior visit & I heard the word Fibromyalgia, I had been telling her about all of this add'l pain I'd been experiencing for months before this day & all I got was that it wasn't the RA so when I heard her read that I asked if I had that to, her reply was "if you want to put a label on it" HUH? Comments from her on my medical records are just wrong even though she recorded notes during most visits she didn't listen or wrote what she thought she heard. How can you have a patient so distraught over their weight that it comes up each visit, advise them to lose weight then prescribe a medication that's side effect is weight gain & not say so? She corrected me when I called someone a Dr. that wasn't, like she was & she doesn't treat symptoms. If there's something going on with you it's for her to know & you to figure out!

I have been to about every Rheumotologist in my state. When I am not pleased I leave. My health is too important to me. When I was dying of a faulty valve she was the one that saved my life by telling me what I needed. She wasn't my doctor then and had I listened to my doctor at the time I would have died. I find her intelligent and knows what she is doing. I think that she is very kind and considerate with her patients. She is great with following up and getting back with you on test results. Very please with her.

This is one Dr, that only sees her patience as case file.Rude,snide comments,"your fat,and you need to improve your....Blah Blah Blah..This is one cold quack.Do yourself a favor and take your health, and your money to someone who cares.
