Dr. Sheldon Chase, MD

Dr chase treated me for approx 21/2 yrs. I've been in psychiatric care for over 35 yrs and seen more drs than I can count. Dr. Chase stands out as a caring, honest, very informed physician. The only reason I discontinued my visits was a move back to Va. He helped me understand my diagnosis, it's Origen, and the appropriate RX for it. I always looked forward to my appts w him and viewed them as one would an exciting opportunity for self knowledge. I am writing about my struggles over the years and am including my experience w him as one of the very few that actually truly helped me manage my PTSD and Major Depression in a positive and constructive way that continues to aid me some 19 years later. I hope he sees this review as I wanted a chance to tell him that he was a critical part of my ongoing recovery. 5 stars is inadequate as a measure of my respect therefore 45 yrs of marriage and 10 grandchildren, all of whom love and cherish me today, is a more accurate measure of the impact Dr.… Chase had on my life.
