Accurate and competent

Dr. Gottlieb himself is very nice, but his secretary is so uncaringly, deliberately inefficient that she makes a trip to the DMV seem like a pleasant experience. I had a problem with my initial prescription and when I called to report it Gottlieb recommended a new medication. However, the secretary refused to look up the fax number for the pharmacy and forced me to call back with it hours later. His second prescription did the trick, but when I needed a refill she again refused to contact/fax the pharmacy. Instead I was to call the pharmacy, provide the doctor's fax number, have them send a prescription form via fax, then the doctor would sign it, and she would fax it back. She explained this to me then hung up without providing a fax number. This woman should not be in a doctor's office, she should be working for the DC government.

He is very knowledgeable and I would recommend him to anyone. Works with you and tries a couple of different medicines before prescribing one.
