Dr. Shelley Marie Glover, MD

Stay away she nearly cost me my life in ICU and the hospital for 11 days over a simple laparoscopic procedure she hit my main artery and almost coat me my life. Now I have 38 staples blood clots and a swollen stomach in massive pain for almost 2 weeks she needs to be held responsible. My life has changed forever. I her. Be careful of her stay away

Do not go see this Dr unless you want to die on the table. I went in for a minor procedure and she punctured my main artery and now I have 38 staples a blood clot and a 11 day stay in the hospital. I do not understand what happened. I'm so angry and sad why did this happen to me. Be careful all she cares about is money and her freaking beauty line . Stay aware she is dangerous

Lena Holton, ARNP- I have had the worst experience with this Nurse Practitioner. She makes comments to make me feel like I’m not intelligent or can’t take care of myself. She doesn’t make me feel validated or helps with my concerns. I do not recommend her at all.

Without publicly putting my medical information out there I will keep this very generic but informative. After over 10 years of being a loyal patient~customer I have had to leave this establishment due to their lack of attention to detail and customer ~patient relationship. From the front desk , the Nurse, the Office Manager , and sadly the head Doctor herself have regrettably let me down. They failed in explaining very important information, they failed in returning countless phone calls and emails and always being unavailable to speak with even if I went in person. The doctor herself was to have a meeting to discuss what happened with me and she chose to avoid talking to me and having the front desk call me and send me a letter. I have been left with is several unauthorized credit card charges, a complaint to the BB, and my financial institution advocating for me on these charges. Be wise in who you choose as your provider . This establishment does NOT have your best interest in… mind. Well at least in my experience.

This nurse practitioner the receptionist and Dr Glover are extremely unprofessional and rude she’s not interested in anything but money and selling her products she charges you for things that is covered by your medical she’s not even aware of things that she has to do to you once you leave her office she’s not good at the follow-up Dr Glover makes you have the feeling she’s not interested in you and in your case you’re just another checkbook she left me in a room for over an hour they forgot they put me there then they lied about it after the receptionist never answer the calls when she sees your number if anyone calling and you call more than one she doesn’t answer the second time when you going to the office and there is practitioner is rude and scary to you if you don’t to which she says you’re scared she’s going to hurt you with me though so you have to smile and don’t complain and optical over every single reviews I’ve read about her that negative are all true all I have to say… if I don’t have family members that are doctors that can help me understand my apt’s with dr Glover since she is the closest person who deals with menopausal symptoms close to my home I have nothing good to say about Dr Glover’s office I find her office racist anybody that’s not African-American if you read all the reviews every negative thing are all true sure all of this is extremely unprofessional you have a feeling if you’re not African American she doesn’t really deal with you and give you the right info if I didn’t have family members who are doctors I would be very nervous to go to her office and once again I do not recommend Dr Glover is the worst medical office I’ve been to in a long time

I am leaving this review to help the staff see the whole issue and hope it will help clients considering this office decide if this is the place for them. I made an appointment and showed up 15 minutes early to find out they had cancelled my appointment without notice. The only call I received from them was confirming my appointment, which the front desk staff lied about, stating she asked every employee there and claimed no one spoke to me. I showed her my phone log proving I spoke with someone there the day before, she continued on with the lie. They sent me away, even though I begged to be seen for chronic pain and symptoms I felt were serious. The office manager came to my car, agreed to have me seen, and apologized. The nurse practitioner saw me and listened to my concerns and symptoms. (While she complained she had to stay to see me, she seemed thorough.) Tests were ordered. One woman stayed till after hours taking my information and was absolutely wonderful. However,… it took over TWO WEEKS to get my urine results alone back and they discovered I had a severe UTI, which two weeks later had now spread to severe back pain (likely my kidneys) and severe pelvic pain. I begged them to give me a prescription that was safe and instead they gave me one that caused horrible stomach cramps by day two and caused me to bleed severely with my bowels. I called with my symptoms and the nurse practitioner said to stop taking the medication after she first claimed I must have GI problems and later said I must be allergic to the medication. She would not prescribe anything else without another appointment, which costs me an hour of driving and money I do not have for a co-pay. I went in for the ultrasound they ordered in the meantime, costing my $125. The office told me to make an appointment 4 days after I got the test done, but it has now been 15 days, they have no results yet, and they have not returned my calls since Wednesday and it is now Friday afternoon again. I explained that my symptoms from the first day were getting worse and worse and new symptoms were present. I am not a medication person, I am allergic to a lot and I do not EVER take pain meds. But, when I am in serious enough pain and have symptoms of major concern, as well as test results that show a serious infection, I expect fast action with an antibiotic and if I have a reaction to that antibiotic, prescribe a new one. Then set up and charge me for a second visit once the results from all of the other tests come back.

I visited Dr. Glover because I was having issues regarding menopause and she was very thorough in explaining to me the options available and how she could help me. I have to say I felt very comfortable with her. She did speak a little fast but if I didn't understand i stopped her and asked questions. The only problem I have is how the staff . communicates. They don't seem to give me the info i need before I leave and when I call they misinterpret what I am asking for. I have gone to my visit without seeing the doctor because I didn't have what they needed but I didn't know....etc. i think a simple phone call beforehand would have saved me a trip. Hopefully it'll get better. Overall I am happy so far with the results I am getting that Dr. Glover recommended. I'm not 100% but I am getting there.

I have been going to Dr. Glover for many years and have nothing against her except she usually only sees active medical issue patients, giving the annual exams to a nurse practitioner. Her previous NP was very nice and I had no problem with, however, the new one is very rough, caused me extreme pain during my pap smear- to the point of bleeding and didn't seem the least bit concerned with my discomfort! I will not return to this practice!

Dr. Glover and her staff are amazing. They are courteous, professional, and caring. Dr. Glover consistently took the time to ensure that I understood all of my options. She also followed up after surgery to ensure that my recovery progressed as expected. My only regret is that I waited so long to have surgery.

Dr. Glover is amazing!! I have been to many doctors for the same issues and no answers. Dr. Glover ran all the right tests and found the culprit. I would highly recommend her, she spends a lot of time with each patient.
