Summary
Shellie Russell-Skerski, MD, provides a full range of health care to children from birth through age 18. She decided on her future profession in third grade, when she dressed up as a doctor. Her parents were teachers, so pediatrics was a natural choice. Dr. Russell-Skerski enjoys learning about patients and their families and watching them grow. Before joining Samaritan, she practiced in a small town in rural Ohio for 20 years and was looking for a similar setting in Oregon to be near family. In her free time, Dr. Russell-Skerski is learning Italian and belongs to a book club. She has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and enjoys being outdoors, playing piano, knitting and spending time with family and pets.
