Dr. Shelly Agarwal, MD

Dr. Agarwal was an amazing Dr. my wife went to here while pregnant with our 3rd child and she loved her. She was extremely nice, patient with questions and you can tell she actually cares about all of her patients. My wife had a ruff child birth and if it wasn’t for Dr. Agarwal I don’t think I would have my wife with me here today she’s truly one of the best. I don’t trust doctors. We recently moved south and we trust her so much we drove 8 hours for a procedure my wife needed just to see her. Good honest doctors are hard to find.

I had been suffering for year with abnormal bleeding and when my insurance changed I was nervous about seeing a doctor and having to explain my issues. Dr. Agarwal not only listened with interest but asked me questions about my expectations with her. Finally, someone took my seriously. She ordered me to have an ultrasound to see what was going on and now I what’s wrong with me. Grateful that she didn’t just change my birth control and send me on my way. She genuinely wanted to help me.

I took my daughter to see Dr Agarwal. They would not give her an exam. My daughter and I both wanted to determine if she was sexually active. She had an incident where she was not sure. They only would give a pregnancy test . The nurse asked why we were there I told her and she looked at me confused. Then the doctor was saying things like " well we will do a pregnancy test because we have to appease mom somehow". And when the nurse took her to take the test she says " come on, let's go prove to mom your a good girl". They made me feel like a fool! Then they told us to go sit in the waiting room and wait for results. All of a sudden Dr Agarwal opens the door and in front of the whole wating room of people says our results are negative. Very unprofessional

Dr.Agarwal was amazing from my first visit OB visit, when I got pregnant I loved the way she cared for not only my care but my baby. I would recommend her to everyone.

I saw Dr Agarwal in her Tinley Park office and I was impressed; I work with many physicians and I could tell she is very sincere, honest, and knows what she is doing; she answered my questions , took her time and was truly concerned about my well being and treated me like a person; I would recommend her highly

Dr. Agarwal is an excellent gynecologist. Compared to other doctors I've had in the past she is much more friendly. Each time I meet with her she remembers me personally, shows a genuine interest in my health, eagerly answers my questions, and does her best to complete the exam in a timely manner which reduces any uneasiness I may feel towards the content of the appointment. In addition to this, she also makes it a priority to ensure your comfort throughout the process. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new doctor.

The staff was nice; however will not be returning to doctor Agarwal. She was rude and was not concerned about my fears and questions. She was not compassionate to my needs.
