Dr. Shen Ye Wang, MD

I live in Temecula, but have been seeing Dr. Wang, an excellent physician, at his location in San Diego for more than 6 yrs. I travel the distance to San Diego because his support staff in Murrieta consists of one extremely rude and controlling person, named MARY. It is a shame that patients in Murrieta must be subjected to Mary because many of his patients have multiple medical problems and Mary removes any dignity that they may have had prior to being exposed to her abusive behavior. Dr. Wang is a wonderful neurologist and caring physician. Highly regarded and recommended.

A very pleasent experience. Dr. Wang took a enormus amount of time with me, very patient, and explained things until I understood them. A very nice man... office staff very up to date on insurance and billiing. Very professional no nonsense type of person. Very helpful without making me feel like I was being rushed out of the office. I would recommend anyone to this doctor's office.

I waited about 1 hour to see Dr.he asked me a lot of questions,but when i asked him questions im not sure if he understood.he just smiled and shook his head.he would not let me see what he was writing,he asked me to write a sentance,i did he put it in a folder with out even looking at it.he was trying to put words in my head,when i tried to explane he would justchange subject.and smile.i felt like he was expert at minimizing my head trama,saying it was a cist,i hit my head on concrete floor at work,i was knocked out cold.it is a brain injery! he said it was a cist!this man is a quack! for insurance company.

My first visit with Dr Wang was almost 45 minutes. He took the time to look over the notes I brought, listen to my questions, and answered each one of them. I assumed this was the case for only first time visits, but on each visit after that, he once again took the time to sit down and make sure my questions were answered. He never stood over me, never appeared rushed, and always took his time. Most importantly, the reason I came in was addressed, and is completely under control now. Unfortunately, it appears there is only one person 'running' the office for him in Murrieta. The calls go unanswered, faxes never seem to go through after numerous attempts and the professionalism of the staff member leaves much to be desired.

office staff is courteous and very helpful. They are up to date on billing and very professional.

I have only been to going to Dr. Wang for less than a year. He has NEVER taken a history from me, taken my heart rate or blood pressure, preformed even a reflex test on me, or for that matter, ever touched me or my back. I am on Workman's Comp. Insurance and he gives me very little at attention, he is more like a well payed pill dispenser. Office worker Mary is horrid. She is rude and does take it upon herself to insert her opinions about medications and whether or not you should have them. I am writing this as i have just found out that my prescription has not re-filled and I go into withdrawl without this PRESCRIBED medication. There is also no after hours phone number. I can't really give an opinion about his medical abilities since I've received almost nothing from him. My advice, find another nuerologist, like I am~!

Mary is extremely rude and uncaring. She acts as though she is the final word when calling for refills and takes it upon herself to dole out her opinion on whether or not you are taking the proper medications and how frequently. I love Dr. Wang, but may have to change doctors just because of her.
