Dr. Sheree Lynn Lopez, MD

Dr. Lopez cured an ailment that I had for a month of a persistent cough that I couldn't get rid of. I finally made an appointment. Which, was no problem. She examined and asked questions and prescribed the correct medication to knock out the ailment. A week later I had felt much better the cough and everything surrounding it was gone. The prescription was right on point. She also recommended a very good niched doctor to handle my thyroid condition. Thank you, Dr. Lopez.

I initially thought that Dr Lopez was a great doctor. However it was made very clear to me that her main goal is financial gain. she lacks compassion, and she has serious control issues. She operates like this is the 1900s. Where the Dr tells the patient what to do and the patient does it. This is not the way that medicine works today. Patients have rights. They can refuse to do something and they can request something else. Today patients are supposed to have control of there bodies. I'm going to try to shorten this story as much as possible, yet include all the pertinent information. My mother and myself are both patients of Dr Lopez. Over approximately the last 2 years my mother had some nonspecific symptoms frequent falls, upper extremity weakness, difficulty writing with her dominant hand, minor short-term memory issues etc. Me being an RN and being in this field for almost 18 years, I recognize these symptoms to likely be neurological. So as an RN and a healthcare advocate for my… mother, I requested that Dr Lopez order an MRI with contrast for my mother to rule out or diagnose any neurological problems. Dr Lopez's response to me was, " I like to start with the least invasive testing and work my way out." That was approximately a year and a half ago when I requested that. So, Dr Lopez proceeded to order some blood work and an x-ray. In addition to testing, she ordered my mother to have physical therapy after the testing was complete. Now, at the time my mother was working full time Monday through Friday for Franklin county. My mother argued that she did not have time for physical therapy, in addition to the fact that her symptoms were not significant enough at that time to indicate a need for physical therapy, which is completely within her right. So because of my mother's response, Dr Lopez refuses to order the MRI. So currently my mother is trying to rebound from a severe episode of MS that stole her faculties of using her arms and hands properly, walking independently, thinking and making independent decisions clearly, etc. Dr Lopez tells us that she couldn't order the MRI because insurance would not allow her to unless my mother completed PT. Shall I repeat that I've been a nurse for almost 18 years? For some reason she felt that I wouldn't have sense enough or the knowledge to know that that is a 100% lie. I am well aware that there are certain things that have to be completed first with some insurances before an MRI can be ordered. But for my mother this was not true. I know this to be untrue firstly because her previous PCP ordered an MRI with no prior testing required due to her having back and lower extremity pain. But, because Dr Lopez decided Miss Sally needed PT, but my mother, Miss Sally did not want physical therapy, Dr Lopez refused to order her MRI. There have been a lot of trials and tribulations leading up to my mother getting discharged to home and receiving the care and resources she needs to be safe in the home with me, but we serve a God who protects, provides, and sees us through any situation. So when I took my mother back to Dr Lopez's office so that she could look at her and see what her control issues, pride, and 1800 style medicine practice caused, Dr Lopez was such a coward and so prideful that she couldn't even own it! God said, "Vengeance is his and I'm going to leave it at that!

I always have a good experience with Dr. Lopez, the staff is friendly and I never have to wait long to be seen.

DR. Lopez was very professional, prompt and has an engaging bedside manner. I felt comfortable speaking with her and above all, I felt heard. I very much felt like she was genuine in her approach to my care, not like I was just another case. Impeccable first impression!
