Dr. Sheri Wen Hsu, MD

Last month I had 50CC of water drained from my knee by an orthopedist who strongly urged me to see two rheumatologistts & immediately sent out documented referrals & lab work. Over the course of a week & a half Dr Hsu's staff adamantly insisted that they never recieved any referral, in spite of 7 fax confirmations from my orthopedist to the contrary. Finally, two days before my appointment Dr Hsu's staff adamantly asserted that they never got the lab results, not did they get my records from former rheumatologist, in spite of two prior fax confirmations proving their claim a lie. One cannot have any articulate, coherent interaction with that staff. Absolute incompetence doing the simplest things! Dr. Hsu demands MiediCal payment upfront from poor patients who need her help! She only cares about payment, in spite of the obvious fact that both she & her staff don't !

This doctor misdiagnosed me. She spent ten minutes with me, did not exam me and was dismissive. I waited 4 months for ten minutes of frustration and misguided judgement. I wouldn’t recommend her for anything except to go back to school and really learn how to treat patients.

Doctor Hsu figured out what was wrong with me she put me on medication I dont have the ungodly pain I had before. And she helped with my depression that is part of my disorder got me on the medication that treats that and my nuropothy in my feet and she listens something that too many doctors dont do much of any more. I lost everything because of my disorders I worked for many yrs had a nice home etc. I lost it all am now on SSDI and get IEHP if she didnt accept IEHP patients I would be so much worse off now. I have been seeing Dr. Hsu for the past 7 years. I had seen several rheumatologists before seeing her who were dismissive and gave me wrong diagnoses. Dr. Hsu was able to diagnose my rheumatoid arthritis and her treatments have been helping me to live a productive life with reduced pain. Thank you, Dr. Hsu.

I wish I could say I had a good experience with Dr. Hsu but I did not. She could not find a answer so told me I basically have to live with my pain. I don't expect for her to have all the answers but I 100% feel she really just didn't care. The tests I did receive, I requested. She does not care to look further or dig deeper. I have family that goes to her but they have obvious things wrong such as RA. I was so disappointed. I have been in pain for 10 months with no answers.

I really like Dr. Sheri Hsu but her staff there seems to be very confused and can’t even get an RX filled or a simple question answered.

Dr Hsu gave me back my life through her treatment to my RA condition. She's always thoughtful, informative and the best dressed doctor around. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field and will explain anything you may ask. Love her!

Told me about my condition,suggested ways to relieve pain. Made me laugh.

Out of all the rheumatologist I went thru, she is the best! All my experiences with other doctors normally come in and out and your done! Dr Hsu, she in the room with you for 10 or more mins discussing your health and other concerns with you! She's a doctor who cares and she's the best! Love her!

Dr. Hsu is amazing and I am very picky about doctors. She listens and cares. Always doing whatever she can to improve my health.
