Dr. Sherif Fouad Khalil, MD

Mother has been a patient w/Beaver Clinic for over 20 yrs. She was assigned to Dr. Khalil when her primary Dr. moved on. From the beginning we had problems.. we were at their mercy if we needed to get an appointment, referral or refills. We left messages but were ignored, no call backs. My last message I left was not a pleasant one and demanded some one call back. I wasn't calling for myself, but for our 91 yr. old mother. When I tired calling again, all it did was ring. It seemed odd that no one picked up the phone, so had other family members call their office and YES they did answer. It was obvious that I was block from calling them. The girls there were not friendly & acted like they owned the place. So, now we read in the paper that Dr. Khalil was fined $5,039,180 for invalid diagnoses for the federal Medicare Advantage. I reported the problems we were having to mother's insurance & they wanted me to make a report, I told them as soon as we found mother another Dr. I… would file that report. Dr. Khalil wrote on mother's chart that he prescribed a second heart medication, but never ordered it through the pharmacy, we found out 3 months later, after him scolded her for not taking that medication which we had no knowledge of. We verified w/the pharmacy & it was never ordered by the Dr. She is being seen by another Dr., now as of 3 months ago. I''m sure Dr. Khalil will get a slap on the hand by Beaver Clinic and continue practicing there.

He has always been professional,polite, and concerned about my health issues. He is also been my husband, Ramon physian and has always treated him well!

He is an excellent physician! The wait is long for him but worth it. He will address each concern completely.

Once you are in a SNF there is no coordination with the family at all. When asked to provide Hospice at home refused. No follow up on newly prescribed medication. Basically you can die without proper care and follow up.

Very kind doctor. Helpful and spends time with you. Listens carefully.
