I want to thank Dr. Sanders for all her wonderful care and genuine compassion. You are missed! I am grateful for the time I had you as my doctor. Please know you and your skills are much appreciated.

I CANNOT SAY WHAT A WONDERFUL DOCTOR SHE'S BEEN TOME. SHE PAID CAREFUL ATTENTION TO ME AND RESPONDED TO MY CONCERNS. I AM DEVASTATED THAT SHE IS NO LONGER AT THIS PRACTICE!!! WISH I COULD FIND HER!!

Dr. Sanders is an excellent internist: She is the doctor we all dream of having as our care provider. She has given both my husband and me excellent care for several years. She is always well prepared, has read our charts and knows everything about our most recent lab results, and keeps up to date on every patient she sees. She has told us that she arises early enough each morning so that she can be well informed about each patient she will be seeing on a particular day. When FPG chose her to introduce new doctors to the practice, I knew she would exemplify what a good doctor does and be a mentor, a role model. My only regret is that I didn’t happen onto Dr. Sherri L. Sanders in 2005 when first moving to Florida. Gary and I feel very lucky to have found her. She is a compassionate physician. Dr. Sherri Sanders treats my husband and me in a very empathetic way. She is not only an excellent physician but also a very caring human being. We value her as our doctor. Luck was in our court when we chose to go to her!

I called this morning and was given an appointment right away. Dr Sanders is EXCELLENT. She listens to your concerns and reflect on them. Her exams are thorough and complete. She never rushes you out of the office just to collect the next copay. She gives comprehensive treatment of symptoms. She is a model doctor. So glad I found her.

Dr.Sherri Sanders has been the greatest drive had in a long time it's always a pleasure to see her she is very caring about her patients I wont ever want another dr other than her she's awesome

Listens, takes time and never rushes. Answers questions thoroughly. Only problem I have had was staff, not responding or very slow response to prescription refills. That can be time consuming. But Dr Sanders is excellent.

Dr. Sanders has given me the most thorough check-ups I have ever had, all the while asking me for my concerns and questions. She is gentle and gives complete explanations. She is an asset to the profession. I wouldn't see anyone else.

First Physicians Group staff provided no help with insurance. They wanted me to pay the total cost - when I told them my insurance only requires I pay a copay, they insisted that I contact my insurance company to see how much I should pay! They were of no help. I just cant imagine what I would have done if I had been on medication or just told I had cancer. We need physician office's to help sort out insurance and do proper coding etc. Having just moved to Sarasota, I had to wait over 4 months to see the doctor as a new patient. Unfortunately, the doctor required the 1st appointment to be a "meet and greet" - which means they don't take bloodwork beforehand or allow one to send in prior bloodwork or med records that would have made the appointment useful. Just wasted my time and money reciting to me what I had written on the forms. Being single and getting up in years, I want a physicians' group like I had up north in which the staff helped you work with the confusing… insurance system and the doctors explained the different options and why. I will never again make an appointment for a "meet and greet" unless its at a bar and the Doctor is paying. Be efficient and have some bloodwork and med history before you see a patient. If need an intro - have the new patient do that over the phone with a Physicians assistant or Nurse Practitioner. The Doctor herself seemed compassionate and competent, but I prefer not to go back to First Physicians until they start helping patients with insurance issues and stop meet and greets in favor of actually examining patients, including new patients. Physicians Groups especially needs to assist people who have serious diseases or on strong medication who are alone. Its too bad. I heard great things about this doctor and wanted to like her and this group for a long-term relationship. Instead I lost months of time .... I hope they improve.

She has been my doctor for a year and she is excellent.
