Dr. Shilpa Sunkara, MD

This lady doctor is unfit to practice medicine. She digs into personal matters and is highly opinionated of people. I was her patient and was shocked to learn when she talked unprofessionally about one of her colleagues. Sunkara has to first learn to be respectful to patients, treat their family matters confidential, should not involve in gossip wither her staff and refrain from discussing patient matters with her family and staff that are not involved in patient care. Very poor communication skills and lack of personal hygiene.

She is a Doctor from India the has NO respect for Americans. Poor health management, attitude and no caring or compassion.

She is very thorough and has a great bedside manner. I appreciate the fact that she is not a pill pusher.

My blood pressure finally under control after Dr.Sunkara adjusted medications . She knows her stuff . I have recommended her to 3 of my friends who also gave good review about her after they seem her .staff is polite .

Like seeing her as my physician .

I am very happy to have found Dr. Sunkara. She is totally professional and takes the time to hear your concerns. When I call the office, I don't have to wait forever for an answer or wait 3 days for a call back. She seems truly concerned for my welfare.

She said during the appointment she'd probably never see me again (it was our first appointment). She gave me no good advice and didn't even describe all the things she was prescribing. I felt like she had zero interest in listening to me at all. Too many medications were given and her talk about lifestyle things or ways that I could help my own health were rote and not personal. I am now seeing someone else who listens, have made some changes in my lifestyle personal to what I'm struggling with and my "lab numbers" which Dr. Sunkara seemed much more interested in than she was in me, have improved tremendously.
