Dr. Shilpi Khosla, MD

Dr Khosla is attentive to my issues. She listens and takes action as appropriate She responds to questions over website in a timely manner. Her visits are never rushed. She cares that I am following the best advice to keep me healthy. The office is clean and comfortable. There is seldom a wait time once you arrive for her appointments.

Called to get a prescription refilled, Dr. Khosla would not refill unless I additionally agreed to make an appointment for a physical. Made a telehealth appointment per the front desk’s orders. Dr. Khosla spent 2 minutes on the call (I have a record of it in my phone) repeating over and over that physicals cannot be performed via telehealth, and told me to reschedule. Right before we ended the call she asked how I was sleeping and I just replied fine without elaborating. Dr. Khosla then coded this as a visit and billed me, despite telling me she could not do the visit over and over. She never returned my calls and messages to try to clear up what I thought was an error and misunderstanding. I find Dr. Khosla’s behavior to be apathetic, uncaring, money-hungry, despicable and beyond disappointing.

I can not say that I have had any problems with Dr. Khosla. I have been seeing her for over 10 years on a regular basis. I even took my Mom to her when her doctor passed away. She was very kind to her and helped us thru some tough times. I would recommend her to others any time.

I feel like I saw a different side of Dr. Khosla than is described in the other reviews. She was attentive, professional, polite and helpful. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a good family practitioner.

I have never been treated so rudely by a doctor EVER!! So condescending, abrupt, and did not want to hear what I had to say, interrupted me several times. I would never recommend her!!!! I would have given zero stars if I could!!

I have seen Dr. Khosla about four times for different things. She has trouble listening, without pulling her own hypothesis out before you’re finished. She does the bare minimum. If you have more than one issue she gets angry because she has to type it all in. She should not be In this field. She is the worst doctor I’ve ever been to in my life.

Doctor Khosla reviewed neck MRI and observed enlarged gland. Followed up with ultrasound to complete diagnosis. She is an excellent diagnostician. I would recommend her to anyone.

I have seen Dr. Khosla three times, most recently needing help determining the cause for an large increase in my bad cholesterol (over 60 points) over a short time (8 months) which alarmed one of my other doctors. I explained my diet and exercise and how nothing had changed. She continued to read a script about food to avoid – mostly meat and dairy – I’m vegetarian and have been for months. I was able to get her to run the blood work my other doctors recommended. Her aid called me to let me know the results seemed fine (not a quantitative discussion) and that I need to stop eating sweets and exercise more. My concern is cholesterol and she continued to avoid addressing the issue and other symptoms I have been experiencing. Unacceptable.

I've never been treated with such disrespect as I was with this dr. I originally went to see her with sciatic pain, but when they did a urine test there was a lot of blood in my urine. She told me that she wouldn't even help me with the sciatic pain because she didn't have time to treat me for both. I told her I was in extreme pain and asked if she could give me something for the pain since she wasn't going to treat me and was told no, she didn't know me and acted like I was dr shopping for pain medication. I am a 65 year old female that was definetly not dr shopping, I said I'm just asking for something stronger than tylenol. I started crying because the pain has been so bad, she left me in the dr office for over an hr without coming back and told me to stop crying that I guess since I was there she would examine me. Everytime I tried to tell her what was going on with me she would say stop while she slowly typed things in. Instead of listening she was typing. She… asked me a question if I had xrays on my back and i said I just had an MRI, she said I didn't ask you that and it's a yes no question. She also asked me why I had a surgery done 10 years ago and when I gave her the answer she said that they don't do surgery for that, perhaps you forgot. Then on top of everything else she told me to stop driving. I'm 65 not 95. She reordered the MRI I just had done (surprise same results) and xrays and gave some steriods and tremodol for 5 days. After 7 days I received a letter saying she couldn't reach me and to call her. I left 2 messages before she called me back and then asked if i had call my urologist about the blood in my urine and I said no you said you would contact them. Oh, she said we kept missing each other, just like you couldn't get ahold of me. Now another week has gone by, she said she couldn't give me anything for pain. I have never met a dr like this. She could care less about the patient and Winter's Run Medical Center should fire her before they have a lawsuit. If someone refers you to her like they did me RUN, she has no empathy, no compassion, she treats you with no respect and she talks down to you. She really needs to go into another field.
