I was very unsatisfied with my 2 appointments with this practitioner. I did not feel like she listened to what I was saying. While there was significant delay (about 1 month, her cancellation) bw our two appointments, I still have never had a behavioral health practitioner not remember anything about me to this extent, even with such a delay. I have significant hearing issues on the phone and despite signalling this at both appointments she was eating during the 2nd appointment and refused to take me off speaker phone so she could continue eating. I was very dissatisfied with the appointment, did not feel like the practitioner listened to me at all, and I left the appointment in a worse state psychiatrically (how can you make good boundaries when your psych is gaslighting you ?? ) than when I began it. Now I'm waiting for this psych to release me from her care before getting another appointment. I feel very irritated at the lack of care and the ableism. I would not recommend this… psychiatrist for anyone dealing with any kind of chronic illness or disability from chronic illness, or grief from multiple deaths in the family. She only seems to want to CBT you so she can bill insurance. I am doing WORSE from contact with this practitioner, and she would seem to be blocking my access to other practitioners in the health system (once you see them, if it's not a good fit, they have to refer you - it's been over a month and she has not !) Sometimes it's not a good fit with a behavioral health practitioner and that's ok. What I cannot abide is the lack of attention and care, and above all the lying.
