I would never use this office, 4796 Old Tar Rd., because Dr. Shirley Patel discriminates against older people. If you are on medicare you have to schedule your appointment after 12 noon. No morning appointments for medicare patients. Had to select 1 star because would not let me submit my review. Never went to the office... didn't want to see a doctor that treats older patients different...

Excellent verbal medical workup; wonderful personality; easy to understand; put me completely at ease; thorough physical examination and wellness visit; follow up visit scheduled . I would highly recommend Dr. Patel to family and friends. It was a pleasure to meet her.
