Dr. Shirley Jane Stone, MD

Dr. Stone was kind, patient, knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. She explained thing thoroughly and answered all of my questions. I have NEVER had a doctor spend an hour with me. She did not rush me out of the room and the appointment was not over until I felt it should be over and all of my questions were answered. I would definitely recommend her to others.

I have gone to Shirley for years! She was actually the OB that delivered me & now she is my Ob as well. She always tells it how it is, explains things really well & so people can understand what she is saying, she's down to Earth & makes you feel comfortable.

Dr. Stone performed my hysterectomy and I am very pleased with how everything went beginning to end. She has a very pleasant personality and makes you feel at ease. Her staff is always very friendly and helpful.

I wish other doctors took the time and care to LISTEN like Dr. Stone.

I would never recommend this dr, not even to my worst enemy. She knew I had test results hinting at preeclampsia and did nothing until I felt ill enough to be in the hospital. When she found my fluids were low, she insisted on inducing labor. As soon as she started induction she kept on insisting I have a C-Section even through I had only just been induced. She never gave me a chance to consider of even talk to her about what other options there might be. There was a tornado my first night at the hospital, and I was subsequently sent to another hospital where I was told there was no need to induce labor, I needed IV fluids and bed rest and the right blood pressure medication. Because of the induction meds she gave me my blood pressure spiraled out of control. My daughter was born 2 months early for no reason, and spent weeks in the NICU.

I had an unplanned C-section. Dr. Stone made me feel comfortable and confident that my child & I were in good hands. After surgery, she explained any post op questions & concerns I had. She made me as if I had a friend helping me not just a cold medical professional.

OFFICE STAFF IS EXCELLENT . VERY HARD TO GET AN APPT. BUT WORTH THE WAIT
