Dr. Shiv Sharan Bhatt, MD

Went to him last year for a broken foot check up from the ER. After getting a cast put on, the NEXT day Dr. Bhatt took it off saying it wasn’t broken (without an X-ray). After almost a year of pain and many insurance bills (also a type 2 diabetic for over 20 years), I am now sitting in an upstate university hospital fighting a serious bone infection due to Dr. Bhatt’s “speciality” services. Please listen when I say stay away! He is going back for training on orthopedic surgeries and that should speak for itself!

I personally feel very lucky that Dr Bhatt was able to take me as a patient he has helped me with my discomfort

He is good for treatment , tho the service and time waiting is very poor!!!!

Wouldn't let him touch a flea on my dogs butt

I have health insurance that allows me to see any physician. Initially I saw the surgeon known to be the "the best" in the area. I left quickly from his poor demeanor and less than concerned attitude. I went to Dr Bhatt and had shoulder surgery after he treated me for 3 months with no relief. I had no problems and he remembered at every visit. A great surgeon and sincere man. Would suggest anyone with orthopedic concerns look him up.

His inability to understand English is his biggest downfall. He become very rude, berating you, LOUDLY. He contradicts himself constantly. 1 Minute "you are right where you should be now", and then he'll finish his statement by saying "you have not healed at all" From all indications he is despised by his nurses and colleagues as "being short, rude, and unrealistic in his expectations"

I wouldn't let this guy be my dogs vet.
