Dr. Shiva Kincaid, MD

I’m a patient of Dr Kincaid for over one year. She was great during my first visit, but became frustrated and lacking of compassion, once I started to get sick. During my last visit, she appeared like a tape recorder, repeating things and not listening at all about my pain and suffering. I certainly won’t go back.

Dr. Kincaid is very patient and takes time to listen to everything I say and is very thorough. She is very knowledgeable and very professional. She does not hesitate to make referrals to specialists when she deems necessary.

I have treated with Dr. Kincaid for several years and find her to be very courteous but very frank and very thorough, which is what I want in a doctor. I have sent friends to her as well as my own daughter and will refer anyone who needs a good physician to her.

Owing largely to the fact that I move to a new city every few years, I have had several different primary care physicians. I think Dr. Kincaid has been a very good physician for me. I have always found her to be friendly and professional. She follows up on issues discussed during previous visits, and based on my history she correctly diagnosed a problem that had eluded my previous physician. I've been very happy with her and will be sorry to leave her practice the next time I move.

My husband and I left this practice after being mis-diagnoised. My husband has a family history of heart failure. He was diagnoised as having heartburn and was taking meds for his "heartburn" and was having a heart attack. I called this "doctor" to let her know my husband was in the hospital having heart surgery and we will be leaving the practice.

Cold, robotic, not helpful - all she can do is refer you to someone else because she can't do anything.
