Dr. Shontae R. Buffington

Dr. Buffington is a great pediatrician. I definitely recommend her.

Just moved to town and my neighbor referred me to Dr. Buffington. We have a 6 children. The office is very kid friendly and the people are nice. During our visit Dr. Buffington kept their names, problems, and meds all straight; only 4 of them were there for the visit. She remembered my name too. I know drs are supposed to have good memories but usually they don't use it like that. Four kids all at once can be hard but the nurses and Dr. Buffington were patient, kind, and caring. Best pediatrician we've had in a long time.

I recently relocated to Spring Hill from Orlando, Fl. My sister told my about the experience she and my niece had a few weeks ago. With that said, I decided to make an appointment to see if Dr. Buffington would live up to the hype. I was skeptical at first, because my daughter hates doctor visits and all the doctors we've seen in the past. I'm happy to say Dr. Buffington is a breathe of fresh air. She was able to relate to my teenager in ways none of her pervious doctors could. I never saw my daughter ask so many questions to the point we had to make a follow up appointment to get them all answered. At the end of the appointment, I couldn't thank Dr. Buffington enough.

Dr. Buffington misdiagnosed both my son, and my daughter when they had strep throat. While I am usually not one to write reviews, I felt that parents should hear this as they make a decision on who to take their children to. Please don't take my post down as this is the second time I have written one.

Talking to her is like chatting with an old friend. She never talks down to me or makes me feel stuipd. Great doctor. Fun visits for my kids, even when their are shots.

Dr Buffington has been seeing our children for over 2 years now. She takes time with my children, explains things in a way that we can understand and usually personally follows up with a telephone call, email or a nurse call. We appreciate her kid-friendly bedside manner and practical advice.

I like her because she always care about her patient.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Buffington since birth. I feel good about taking my daughter to see her for general care needs.
