Dr. Shruti Shivpuri Fernandes, MD

I have been going to Dr.Shruti Fernandez for 4 or five years and she is always caring and patient. I hope she is my Dr. forever.

I went for a general checkup. Dr Fernandes was very professional, soft spoken and had a gentle demeanor. She was very helpful. The whole clinic staff were pleasant. Would recommend.

I have been terrified of doctors for as long as I can remember, that left the first time I met Dr. Shruti. I absolutely adore this kind, gentle, brilliant physician, who I feel so honored to have as my doctor.

I have been with Dr. Fernandes for several years and have found the care to be lacking. The things I don't like is this feeling like she's trying to protect herself from liability when she treated me. I recall being asked several times why I don't move away after I had poor treatment from her. She has on many occasions prescribed medications that I did not feel were necessary or downright detrimental to my health. The last straw was a routine visit where they ask you to fill out a "health update," which I filled out. You are then asked about the updates by the doctor. Answering these questions led to additional charges (which they correctly tell you that you signed somewhere you allow them to pursue this behavior) and I was also urged to try another prescription which I tried and decided I did not want to take. Obviously for PII I will not discuss the details. Overall, I never felt like my doctor had my back or cared about me as a human being. Also, I had a rotator cuff injury a… couple months prior to my annual check up which she asked questions about. She suggested that we schedule a follow up because she wants to see if we should take an x-ray. I also didn't think this was necessary based on what the urgent care doctor and a physical therapist shared with me and the steroids I had taken previously for improvement. Overall, I always have to second guess this doctor and I don't feel like I was in good hands.

Doctor Fernandes is very kind and knowledgeable. I always feel she gives me her entire attention. She works with a wonderful staff also.

Dr Fernandes is so patent and caring ? takes times to address my concerns.

Dr. Fernandez makes you feel like you are her only patient. She never rushes during an appointment. She LISTENS and explains everything very well. So much so you shouldn't have any questions after she is done. The staff is wonderful. I trust her completely!

She truly cares. I am blessed to have Dr. Fernandes. I feel she is both beautiful on the inside and outside. I know she will do everything to help me feel the best I can with my bad health and to make my quality of life the best it can be.
