Dr. Shruti Bhavi Sanghvi, MD

Dr. Sanghvi is professional, personable, thorough and gives each patient the kind of care they not only want but what we actually need. I'm happy with the service and the care she and her support staff provides.

After being treated for several conditions/Lupus,RA,Osteo by several Dr. locally since I was 12 as well as 5 months at the Mayo Clinic recently, I ended up with her. She took me off Enbrel, changed my dose of Plaquinel twice just to take me off it as well. Every time I go to her office for pain, flare up's or other conditions she is always in a hurry, confuses my diagnosis, and dismisses me to the point I leave with more tears then when I showed up. I don't have any kind of a support system so I was really hoping to find a Dr. that could help me feel BETTER.. Well here I am in a raging flare up with extreme kidney problems and She is the last person I want to seek help from, But what do I do?

She is doctor who sincerely cares about each patient. She spends the time they need assuring that each patient gets the best healthcare available.

She is compassionate, thorough and simply an excellent doctor.

Dr. Sanghvi does a good job at establishing rapport and is quite friendly. She is compassionate and seems to really care about the individuals she sees. This is contrasted with a number of communication and differences of opinion. For example, she prescribed a medication that I am allergic to; she started telling me one diagnosis and then switched to another 6 months later, without notice or explanation, and during a time when I could not take anything stronger than I was on, trying to access something to manage the pain was nothing short of humiliating when dealing with her and her office. In addition, I wanted resources and information about things I could do diet and lifestyle-wise to which she said there was no evidence that these things make a difference; on the contrary! There are plenty of studies out there that show these things make a difference. In the end, I've felt like while she cares about me, she is treating me following some kind of formula and not really listening to… what my concerns are or where I would like support.

Dr. Sanghvi was thorough in taking my case history and in examing me. She was compassionate and I left feeling confident about the treatment she had prescribed.

Dr Sangvhi has been a life-line for me. I am young for my diagnosis and she has been very progressive and informative in my treatment, looking out for me in the long-term.

Dr. Sanghvi is very busy, it is true. There was a long wait for an initial appointment. But subsequent appointments are regularly available and although Dr. Sanghvi is very focused and professional during office visits, she is always willing to discuss questions and concerns and explain her reasons for a particular course of action. I couldn't disagree more with the previous rating. I am grateful to Dr. Sanghvi, who after more than two years of bouncing from doctor to doctor was able to diagnose my Fibromyalgia and Rheumatoid Arthritis and provide me with some understanding and a course of action for improving my quality of life. I highly recommend her.

I have never had this difficulty with any other Dr. She's always booked out for months. When calling with questions or prescription refills it takes days to get any response, when you do it's you get the run around-ALOT! I am in the process of changing Dr's because my insurance no longer covers her and I am having an extremely difficult time getting her to refill my prescription in the 2 month time it is going to take to even get an appointment with another Dr. Basically she put me on a medication for chronic pain that my body is now dependant on, is cutting me off because my insurance changed is taking her time sending any referrals (she has had a referral request for 2 wks now that she still has not sent) and doesn't care or have any sympathy at all, she will not even speak with me. To top it off the medication is a non-narcotic pain reliever which she does not have to be this strict about. I just want to not be in pain and be able to function at my multiple jobs. I work 15 hrs a day… and don't have time to deal with this... I am frustrated and feel like nobody cares.
