Dr. Shu-Ming Wang, MD

Dr. Wang is not just an amazing doctor but an incredible human being as well. She takes the time to listen to me and actually really cares about what is going on with me. She respects my opinion and is always empathetic. She doesn't have to do that, but she does. I have visited her when is under the stress of seeing many patients, but she still tries very hard to give me the time I need seeing her. So much is expected of doctors these days and I can understand why they want to just see a patient and move to the next one, but Dr. Wang is very caring and understanding. I feel so fortunate that she looks after me. She is incredibly cheerful and though many doctors might enjoy sharing their issues with you, when I see Dr. Wang, her focus is on my problems. She is the rare doctor that I actually look forward to seeing! God bless her!

Rarely do I enjoy going to see a doctor, but Dr. Wang is an amazing exception! She is unbelievably cheerful, enjoys interacting with me, is extremely intelligent, and is on the ball! If every doctor was like her, the world would be a much happier and healthier place. I always trust her to do the right thing and she inspires me to do the same.

Watch your back. She'll be nice and tell you what a good job you're doing and then she'll turn around and stab you in the back.

I have highly recommended Dr. Wang since the first day I met her. She made me feel very comfortable which was most important for me.

Dr. Wang is one of the best doctor's that I have been to and I have seen many doctor's in the OKC area. She looks you in the eye when she talks to you and you will probably get a hug when you meet. Her level of caring is top notch and she listens to what you have to say. She will always be my first pick when it comes to seeing a physican.

Dr Wang seems very caring when you visit her in the office. Unfortunately, Ive become ill outside of my regular visits and Dr Wang would not help me. She even hung up on me when I was desperately ill out of town with a sinus infection. I requested at least that she send a prescription to a CVS for an antibiotic until I could make it back home. She refused and hung up on me. I was in tears begging for help. Because she has a good disposition in the office I continued to see her because I didnt want to bother finding another doctor. Recently, I had a terrible sharp pain in my left side and back just above the hip along with frequent urination. The pain was so bad on a Thursday night I could not sleep. I called at 8:30 a.m. on a Friday morning asking if I could come in to see Dr Wang. The gentleman who answered the call said she is all booked up. No offer for another appointment or an alternative. I advised I felt very bad and requested a call back. The nurse called me back at lunch and… she told me Dr Wang would be notified of my symptoms. An hour and half later the nurse called me back again and told me she gave Dr Wang my message. Dr Wang had already gone for the day and instructed the nurse to tell me to try an After Care Clinic. Other issues Ive had are she does not go over or send your test results. My OB/GYN doctor sent Dr Wang information on swelling in my feet and ankles. Until other issues appeared Dr Wang never mentioned it or even investigated. I feel and it has been my experience, Dr Wang is only concerned with treating patience when they are paying in office. Also, she will not go the extra mile to help her patients. The light bulb has finally come on; I realize I need more from the person I depend on to help me stay healthy. Its obvious not everyone is a real Physician at heart. Im moving on. Hopefully, Ill find someone who really cares about the health of their patients.

I really wish there were many of her..hate that she can't be all the docs I must attend :( Her sensitivity and true love of helping people shines through! She is smart, accurate and she listens. WOW, what a concept huh? My family and I love, love, love her, good docs are SO hard to find these days! I'm a cancer survivor so I have Dr. shopped...like I said, I wish she were in all specializations! You will not be sorry with your experience with her!

Dr Wang was my family physician for several years. She is not only an AWESOME doctor, but she is an AWESOME listener, which is so important from your doctor. I cannot give her enough praise, nor can the many friends I have that I referred to her. She has a smile and a hug whenever you need one and a shoulder to cry on when you need that too! She is truly a gem! She has moved on to Oklahoma now, and I miss her, terribly. But as a patient,and I speak for many...don't hesitate one minute about seeing her. You and your family will love her too! I promise!
