Dr. Shuchi Shah, MD

Wonderful staff & Physician. Staff is very friendly, respectful and courteous and Dr. Shah is a breath of fresh air and a sincere delight!!! Love them!!!!

My daughter is a little reserved and takes a while to warm up to people, but she really likes Dr. Shah and always feels comfortable during her visits. She is such a great doctor and has been extremely helpful to me, especially at the beginning when I was still learning about Type 1. Dealing with Type 1 has not been easy for my daughter or me, so we are grateful that Dr. Shah and her staff are always caring and professional.

My experience with Dr. Shah and her staff was extremely pleasant, and I felt the need to write this review. Her staff was very welcoming and interactive- my child immediately felt at ease and did not feel like he was going to the "dreaded doctor's office." They greeted my child with a Play Pack so that Dr. Shah and I could discuss my child's history while he was busy. My child did not feel uncomfortable at all during the exam portion of the visit. At the end of the visit, the plan of care was clearly established and I appreciated her personal follow-up after the visit. Even though she is young, it is clear that Dr. Shah practices "old school medicine" - she tries to create a warm, family environment for her patients and demonstrates genuine concern. I highly recommend this physician.

Dr. Shah is a lifesaver. Our young daughter was having great difficulties early on in life and we were out of answers. Until we met Dr. Shah. Dr. Shah saved our daughters life. There is no better Doctor (endo or any other) than Dr. Shah. Her staff is fantastic too.

My infant son is not very fond of doctor visits, but did really well with Dr. Shah. She is great with kids and unlike other doctors, you can tell that she will take as much time as she needs in order to listen to my questions, accurately diagnose any problems my son was having, and to spend some time with us to make sure we understand treatments and recommendations for going forward. I have no doubt that my son is in great hands with Dr. Shah. I was really impressed with the fact that she followed up a week later to make sure that everything was going alright and to make sure we didn't have any questions that came up after our visit. I've never had a doctor do that before, and it was very much appreciated. The office decor and staff are also great. I highly recommend Dr. Shah.

My son has been seeing Dr. Shah for almost 2 years now for his diabetes care and I am more than pleased with the treatment that he has received. Not only does Dr. Shah treat my son as an individual rather than a number, she has been easily accessible to me through email as well as cell phone for any questions or concerns that I may have (emergent or otherwise). I am shocked to read another review calling Dr. Shah "prejudicial". Myself and my son are both hispanic and never once have we felt that Dr. Shah has shown prejudice to us in any form! In fact, we have been treated with more respect and courtesy by her than any other doctor that we have previously seen. Dr. Shah and her staff are always checking in on my son and making sure that we have everything that we need regarding his supplies and medication. Also, Dr. Shah is very quick to evaluate and respond to glucose logs that we send over to her whenever we feel that my son's numbers are off track. Even on weekends. Dr. Shah's… personalized care and knowledge in her field is the reason that my son does not feel like an outcast for having diabetes and for this I can never thank her enough! I highly recommend any parent seeking endocrinology care for their child, see Dr. Shah themselves. Praise and complaints can come from anywhere, but speaking from true experience: Dr. Shah provides the best and most personal care around!

Dr. Shah is a caring, extremely knowledgable physician. We feel so blessed to have found her. Our previous endocrinologist provided minimal diabetes education and support. When we joined Dr. Shah's practice, she met with us for 3 hours to fill in all the eduction gaps we had concerning our child's care. She is passionate about the treatment of diabetes and treats every aspect of how it affects our child's life. I would highly recommend her!
