Dr. Shyronda Yvette Pleasant, MD

My daughter had her yearly with Dr. Pleasant and we were pleased with the service. The assistants were professional and I had no problems at all. Great welcoming environment. What I liked the most is the personable care and the doctor’s ability to connect with my daughter. My daughter was comfortable and connected easily with the doctor and staff. We will definitely continue using the pediatric services here.

Spoke with the office very unpleasant doctor very unprofessional made me feel as if my children were not important there not good with following up with new patients and I just feel that she doesn't have enough creditnals and board award that show her work. I feel the practice is to new and not experience enough. I felt that she talked down to you in a very condescending way. I will never use them again.

Dr. Pleasant doesn't have knowledge of breast fed infants. She goes by a formula chart and considers a baby sick simply because they have high metabolism.

she is an awesome only doctor our kids can see .

I Love Dr Pleasant she always take the extra mile for the kids and the parents she was my daughter doctor and my daughter loves her now she's my grandson doctor and he loves her we couldn't ask for a better doctor and her whole staff is great I just love everyone at the office always be seen when it's our appointment and office always clean.

Dr. Pleasant is not so pleasant. However she appeared to be very condescending. I had an appointment with her at 8:30 am. She arrived to the office at 9 am. There was a 9am patient with an appointment let alone me at 8:30 am so why arrive at 9 am? My phone was in my hand (on vibrate). I was not texting or even looking at my phone and she asked that I put it away due to confidentiality, pictures, and recording devices. She started explaining different things about her care for babies and began to speak of jaundice. I know what jaundice is because I suffered from it as a baby. She began to use scientific terms and when I asked about the terms she stated that it's simply yellowing of the skin. We'll of course I knew that but the point is to use laymen terms. My field is law enforcement not medicine. She then asked how I heard about her practice and I stated online. She told me to take what I see online with a grain of salt. Clearly anyone would take online reviews (good or bad)… with a grain of salt. Hence meeting with her in person to determine if she is a right fit. Overall, she may be educated but there is a lack of genuine character. Her staff is very nice. Office is clean. Will not be using Dr. Pleasant.

Requests numerous follow-ups to bill patients for additional money. Follow-up appointments may lack purpose.
