Dr. Sibel Bessim, MD

Deserves zero stars. I will be filing a formal complaint regarding my IUD removal which she ripped out of me. Avoid this doctor at all costs.

Dr. Bessim is my doctor for over 20yrs. Since from Wellesley, MA She is the best doctor! I likes her so much! When I was looking for new doctor everyone is highly recommended!

Worst doc ever. She actually deserves 0 star if there is one. She doesn't know what she does. She has no professional opinion, no advocacy for her patients. All she does is to send you to run all the tests, even though you just go there for woman's health check ups. Endless bills will come to you once you visited with her, blood work bills, pap smear bills, ultrasound bills, office visit bills, etc, you name it.

I will not be going back to this Doctor! She was having a student study with her and I told the nurse I didn’t want to have her in the room but she care in anyways. After explaining my concerns with my PCOS she continued to dismiss them and say that I don’t have PCOS even though I have been previously diagnosed and have 90% of the symptoms. She seemed really uninterested in what I was there to talk about. She basically said this is what Im prescribing you take it or leave it..... no explanation, no answers to my question, nothing! But the staff was absolutely amazing.

I would not recommend this doctor to my worst enemy. If you Google her name, you will see that she has been sued a couple of times. Stay away!

I have seen Dr. Bessim over 15+ years and found her to be knowledgable, caring, and considerate to all of my needs. She delivered my baby 14 years ago and I feel lucky to have her as both my gynecologist and obstetrician.

Dr. Bessim performed a laporascopic surgery on me to detect and treat any endometriosis which may have been present. While operating on me, she perforated my bowel, which resulted in me having emergency surgery and a temporary colostomy for 4 months. I was in the hospital for almost 4 weeks and had several complications. It took me about a year to fully recovery. I was out of work for almost 5 months. It was a horrible experiece and I experienced the most excrutiating physical pain one could imagine. All in all, I would suggest having no surgeries with this doctor and obviously would not recommend her to anyone to act as her gynecologist.
