Dr. Silvia Maria Magadan, DO

My children have been patients at Morris Pediatrics for 18 years. I have struggled through the office policies in scheduling appoints for almost 2 decades. I can no longer accept their “policies.” Pediatrics of Morris does not work within their patients limitations at all. Despite the EIGHT years my youngest has been seeing Dr. Magadan specifically, they are refusing to fill out school paperwork. I was willing to work within their system and schedule the visit to complete the paperwork, as personally instructed by Dr. Magadan, but now it seems she is unwilling to accommodate the Asthma Action Plan paperwork request. Their “policies” make it extremely difficult to make appointments for physicals, or arrange specific days for a sick visit. I can no longer support a practice that does not take care of their patients. So much for 18 years of loyalty. Stay away from this practice, unless you prefer to be treated like a number. You cannot trust Dr. Magadan's word.

I have never had trouble getting an appointment the day I call if my son has been sick. There was a doctor there who misdiagnosed him 2 x and was not consistent with the information given but she is no longer there. The staff is relatively friendly, they are not rude but do not go above and beyond either. The only thing I would like to see more of is a follow up after a visit. For example, as a first time mom, it would be nice for the doctor or the NP to call and just check in to make sure I am not missing something. Other than that I love Dr. Magadan, she spends ample time with us and answers any questions big or little and has never made us feel inferior. I highly recommend the practice.

Dr. Magadan has been great for all our children always and for about 20 years.

Horrible, rude staff.
